Shadow Movement is a Project which started in 2012. After working as solo artists, both Rafael and Raul decided to share their ideas in a new experience. From house to techno, at this new stage they seek to take their music, loaded with melody and breakthrough content, to the next level.

Their influence comes from great electronic music classics to 70's and 80's progressive rock, which they really admire. One year after the project began; they got the support and incentive necessary to achieve their goals, which was definitive for their future. 2014 is the starting point for the duo to hit the road, along with releases scheduled for the first part of the year which promise to surprise the public.

Rødhåd's next release will come via his Dystopian label and the sinister imprint is releasing an eight-track compilation to mark the tenth release. An ever-evolving entity, Dystopian is now also a fulyl functioning record label, booking agency and club night.

We've got the premiere of 'Like Tears In The Rain' from the compilation and Rødhåd has smashed this one out of the park. Menacing kicks, pulsating riffs and cymbals that thrash and crash profusely.

This weekend you'll be able to catch Rødhåd in his element as he heads to Belgium for I Love Techno festival. The long-standing party is highly regarded for its diverse line-up with a clear focus on bringing that techno heat and alongside Rødhåd on the day is DJ Rush, Dave Clarke and Brodinski b2b Gesaffelstein to name a few.

Splitting on each impact the individual particles transform and alter one another to become a breaking wave, spreading out to undefined directions. 2015 saw Stephan Bodzin release his second full length, “Powers of Ten”, as well as a new single on DJ Tennis’ and Tale of Us’ taste making label Life and Death. The album is another magical piece of work that focuses on melody and rhythm, on fat bass and vivid sound design and is a truly captivating journey through the mind, music, body and soul of one of dance music’s truly modern greats. After its release, a great team of modern music makers was enlisted to remix tracks from it: Maceo Plex & Shall Ochin, Fur Coat, Extrawelt, long time musical sparring partner Marc Romboy, Pan-Pot, Max Cooper, Agents of Time, Dominik Eulberg and many more all contributed to what is an essential collection. With a remix of ‘Sleepless’, a Pan-Pot track from their latest album, Stephan Bodzin closed the latest chapter of 2015 in what has been an exhilarating musical journey in his capable and creative hands.

For my new EP on Traum I've done a couple of collaborative tracks with Nicolas Bougaieff (one of the founders of Liine). Nick had some great melodic ideas and a nice operator patch which we used to build two tracks around. This first one, Ellipse, has lots of shuffle and a simple groove to focus attention on the meandering riff at forefront. It's a little different from my usual, a bit of an experiment, hopefully some people will like it!
