@kbkbeats - a project from Belarus, founded in the middle of 2020. Mixing boombap with samples of melancholic funk and jazz artists, seasoned with atmospheric and chill pads, the author makes a minimalistic tube sound using Akai MPC500 as the main instrument. The name "kbkbts." - is short for Kubik Beats.
From the author: "The album ramki vospriyatiya tells us that thanks to many frames and filters, the sleeping mind of most people is not able to realize and accept even a small part of the reality, which exists contrary to these frames of perception. The album "Равновесие" ("Equilibrium") was recorded in 2010. After 10 years, an official re-release took place on Label Cantroll.

From the authors: "We were 19 years old. Getting a diploma from the Industrial Automation Technical School somehow promised some prospects, and rehearsals in the kitchen and in the old Chelyabinsk DKs hinted at the 90s. This is an interesting work - atmospheric and experimental. You can feel inexperience in the recording, a lot of mistakes. But this only adds to its charm".

@chromatic_fields is an instrumental electronic project founded in 2019 by composer Ilya Sakharov. The name of the project is a reference to color (chromatic) fields from color theory, which include different colors and shades in a certain sequence. Chromatic Fields compositions combine various musical elements and directions into a single musical harmony: jazz noir notes are combined with classic hip-hop beats and synthesizer parts.    

Ilya has previously featured on Label Cantroll's flagship international compilation Take a Trip. "Ready to the Way" is the debut album. Here you will hear lyrical compositions with keyboard and brass parts combined with synthesized and sampled elements under hip-hop percussion. Together they create a single harmonious picture and offer the listener to take a journey through the musical canvas.

The announcement single for Paradeigma's album of collaborative tracks, "Collective Creation, Part 2," marks Paradeigma's return after three years.

About the artists:

Since 2007, Paradeigma has been composing strange music that balances several facets: unconventional electronica that periodically mutates into abstract hip-hop or experimental downtempo with a touch of funk. The tracks lack vocals, yet the music often has a life-affirming and creative tone. The main instruments are guitars, synthesizers, and samples from 80s records. Voice inserts are occasionally present, and much attention is paid to experimenting with the rhythm section. Paradeigma is a trio, a duo, and a solo project, with Mark Shishlev as the sole permanent member. Mark is also the founder and director of Label Cantroll. Previously, he organized large-scale offline events in Russia's regions: musical, social, and corporate.

RIZA music is a solo musical project by Alexander Bulichev, who resides in Moscow. The project has been around since 2007. Its sound is constantly evolving, incorporating new elements and harmonies that blend into a single flow of vibrations from live and virtual instruments. Rhythmic patterns evolve, while retaining its distinctive characteristics. A resident of Label Cantroll.

Mark is also the founder and leader of Label Сantroll. In the past, an organizer of large offline events. By main profession - project/ brand manager in various companies and holdings.
