Those of you who went to the club in '94 will know that each and every one of these tunes smashed down Lazerdrome in their own way

In this mix I try to capture the essence of the club as it was in that year. Lazerdrome did go 'jungle' in 1994, but at the same time had its own characteristic sound that seemed to remain. I pick a selection of more 'full-on' tunes that would have kept more currency with the crowd from the year before. With a nod to original Lazerdrome djs -
Nut-E-1, Probe, Dr S. Gachet

This mix is released ahead of the Lazerdrome Memorial Page relaunch, coming shortly in the next month.

1. Socks off or on while sleeping and why?
Off, man. I think the last time I slept with socks on was when I slept in a tumble dryer, in Meribel, France, 1996!


2. Mental Telepathy or X-Ray vision and why?
Good question. I'd like X-ray vision to check out all the things I'd like to see that are hidden... but eventually I think I'd be disturbed by them! So I'm going to go with mental telepathy. I'm sure I could make more money with it!


3. Favorite English chocolate bar of all-time, what makes it the best?
Well, I've got to say Cadbury's dairy milk. Back in the day, Cadury built a whole town for their workers, called Bourneville, and named their dark chocolate after it. Cadbury's are the Don!
