FIRST DATE #3

if anything, its experimental, and at once totally familiar .. if one has the ear for it, a song's country of origin is immediately noticed, and this is decidedly very within a particular genre (emotion) .. a mate from college and i made this in about an hour, he on guitar, improv only on an aggressive electric .. i was on drum programming, calculated to sound improvisational .. fun fact: the bassline was indeed produced by more live guitar .. this song took only an hour to record and program, i know i captured our enthusiasm, and i'm pretty sure you can hear (feel) our energy ..

track two on a year old experimental album, 'commute' .. i played with different beat construction as well as rhythm design .. i was considering changing to a specific style, but by the end of the album, the music had taken me in a different direction .. maybe ill resurrect the album at this point just for interesting thoughts.
