Single Vision at Ravelations Dubai

1.5 ours of high-flying, full-power psychedelic tracks exploring the 147 - 150 BPM range. 

Every so often an artist will release a full-length album of such perfection that I have to fight myself internally to not use every single track on the album in my DJ sets. 

Recently one of my all-time favourites - Radikal Moodz(Looney Moon Records) - has just released such an album. I managed to confine myself to only 4 tracks from their masterpiece album ‘Initial Dreamers’ to serve as the ‘peak’ of this month’s set.

The second honorable mention goes to a more recent discovery of mine from Blacklite Records, Gigi. Gigi has been around for a while but only appeared on my radar by the end of 2021. This set also includes the most recent EP by Gigi - Naughty Shanti - which is made up of 4 incredible collaborations.

June features releases from Protoned Music, Sangoma Records, Looney Moon Records, Sonitum Records, Blacklite records, and Future Music records.

This exclusive "Chuck Some Foot"-titled hybrid set by BLETHER contains some of his tracks released on State Alchemy music as well as some other incredible music produced by his favorite artists. Meet Anthony Lee, a 23-year-old visionary behind the night psy project called Blether. Back in 2018, he dove headfirst into the captivating world of Cape Town's psychedelic culture, and it didn't take long for him to become enamored with it. Fuelled by his love for the scene, Anthony decided to channel his passion into the studio, where he could bring his musical ideas to life. As time went on, Anthony found himself increasingly drawn to the allure of the night time sound. It was within these dark, nocturnal soundscapes that he discovered a creative sanctuary, free from the constraints of traditional musical structures. Summer 2014 mix, and true to form this one also represents a journey. Building from edgier Progressive into banging Full On, this mix is a steady upwards climb in energy. It showcases some label tracks from United Beats including Block Devices recent monsters and Mad Maxx collaborations. As well as tracks from progressive label SourceCode Transmissions, all seamlessly mixed to provide a the listener a nice voyage through Psychedelic Trance.

The Commercial Hippies (Anton Raubenheimer and Gareth Tacon) are the formidable South African Psy-Trance duo known world wide for their funky bass-lines, memorable melodies and dance-floor shaking beats.
With over 15 years worth of electronic dance music production, 2 full length albums, and multiple singles and EP’s under their belt, they have earned a permanent position in the hearts and minds of many a Psy-Trance lover around the globe.

Known for his detailed and surgical mixing style, a well curated taste of music and the ability to weave a story through a set regardless of style or time of day. Paradigm is a DJ's DJ. A rare slice of the old school that still believes in the "art of the mix" and the story telling journey aspect of a performance. 
Residing in Los Angeles since 2013, Paradigm has found himself a mainstay of the United States Psychedelic scene for multiple generations having previously called San Francisco, Denver and the American Midwest as home. As both a event promoter and DJ he has long brought forth a ethic of professionalism and exceptionalism.
The years have seen him associated with many major players in the global scene. As a promoter, he is a integral part of the Pulse Events team, a event organization that can easily be argued as being the most regarded Psy oriented crew in the United States. Wearing his DJ hat as he refers to it, Paradigm has been a label DJ for Blacklite Records and United Beats and farther in the past for Maia and Mindfunk records. With multiple well charted compilations to his name, he continues to show that his finger is always on the pulse of Trance, no matter the era.
In 2018 he has launched Sculpted Sounds,his own label project with the intent on raising the bar of the United States and North America's contributions to the world wide scene. While Paradigm has enjoyed considerable success throughout his home continent  2018 is looking like a global breakout year for him alongside Sculpted Sounds.
 Sometimes controversial but always passionate one would be hard pressed to deny his drive and love for Psychedelic , Full On and Progressive Trance.
