Wubba Lubba, the latest signing of the legendary label HOMmega Productions, is the new musical adventure of well-established psytrance artists Shivatree (Ilan Fleischman from Israel) and Imaginarium (Nikola Gasic from Serbia) and as you can already guess, their music doesn't sound minimal or progressive. After many years of friendship and love for the same kind of music (and other nonsense), they started to explore different realms of psychedelic sound and create trippy night tunes in faster bpm, to bring distinctive music, different from their solo projects. They recorded this DJ mix right after they released their debut EP 'Shaym Aliens' earlier this month. It's assembled mostly from their original unreleased music and it's a good introduction of the Wubba Lubba sound.

Progresso Espresso is a silky smooth blend of today's deepest and most potent roasts from around the globe.  A fusion of specially sourced beans, this mix is guaranteed to make any espresso fan happy! Each roast was carefully selected, only from the most talented and cutting edge organic farmers. Tasters will notice dark, heavy, groovy aromas along side euphoric and uplifting notes. The superb production will be apparent to any espresso afficionado. On a personal note I would like to add that I really believe that this music represents some of the best of the best, the cream of the crop, of today's Progressive Psychedelic Trance.  For me it is especially nostalgic in a lot of cases to hear sounds that remind me of music that got me into Trance and electronic music to begin with.  I am happy to see these characteristics coming back in a new way in today's music.  I want to send my deepest thanks to all of the producers who created these tracks.  You bring me happiness everyday, and everybody else who enjoys these mixes!  Thank you for doing what you do!

KAHN - PROGRESSO ESPRESSO VOL.2 - Fall 2013

This Digital Om episode is showcasing Starlab and his DJ set of 12 tracks selected from the Digital Om Catalogue. StarLab is a project by Bharat Bindal from India. Training in Indian Classical Music laid the musical foundations for Bharat at a very early age, earning a Music Diploma at the age of 10. Over the years, as a self taught Bass & Guitar player he gathered experience recording & touring with his band for over a decade until he encountered Psychedelic Trance Music at a beach party in Goa. He began to teach himself synthesis & music production and project StarLab was born. In 2011 he went to San Francisco USA to study music and quickly became a popular DJ in the West Coast scene. On returning to India in 2013 he joined ranks with India’s premier record label Digital Om Productions as Live Act.

I have always been a massive fan of GOA trance since back in the early to mid 90's. Searching through all of the hundreds of mix tapes I made in the 90s this seems to be the only one I can find of all the GOA mixes I recorded. Sound quality isn't great is it was ripped from cassette, but you get the vibe of what it was all about.

Eeriegeist is a forest psychedelic trance project developed by the young mind of Sebastian Salas residing in Mexico City. His first impressions on psychedelic music were on 2013, since that and after a few years experimenting with sound and improving his production techniques, the project takes his sonic exploration to a more groovy and deep psychedelic context managed through a complex arrange of carefully designed psychedelia. Eeriegeist is now part of the Squarelab Music roster, but he has also released multiple tracks on compilations under some of the best underground labels like: Spontaneous Aerobics, WooDog Recordings, Forestdelic Records, Digital Shamans, Dream Project, etc.

Known for his detailed and surgical mixing style, a well curated taste of music and the ability to weave a story through a set regardless of style or time of day. Paradigm is a DJ's DJ. A rare slice of the old school that still believes in the "art of the mix" and the story telling journey aspect of a performance. 
Residing in Los Angeles since 2013, Paradigm has found himself a mainstay of the United States Psychedelic scene for multiple generations having previously called San Francisco, Denver and the American Midwest as home. As both a event promoter and DJ he has long brought forth a ethic of professionalism and exceptionalism.
The years have seen him associated with many major players in the global scene. As a promoter, he is a integral part of the Pulse Events team, a event organization that can easily be argued as being the most regarded Psy oriented crew in the United States. Wearing his DJ hat as he refers to it, Paradigm has been a label DJ for Blacklite Records and United Beats and farther in the past for Maia and Mindfunk records. With multiple well charted compilations to his name, he continues to show that his finger is always on the pulse of Trance, no matter the era.
In 2018 he has launched Sculpted Sounds,his own label project with the intent on raising the bar of the United States and North America's contributions to the world wide scene. While Paradigm has enjoyed considerable success throughout his home continent  2018 is looking like a global breakout year for him alongside Sculpted Sounds.
