You can trust one man to rescue the summer blockbuster and that man is Tom Cruise. No matter what you think he is one of the last true Hollywood stars. With a passion for movies and bringing the beloved cinema experience to fans. Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning has everything you want in a movie and a reason to go see it on the big screen. Great characters. Great acting. Great rapport among the cast and competent writing are just some of the things that make MI7 work and Indian Jones and the Dial of Destiny FAIL. 

With Lucasfilm, Disney was handed a legacy complete with well developed and beloved characters complete with a built in audience. They killed Star Wars and have finally killed Indiana Jones. Even a budget close to 300 million couldn’t save this sad send off for a pop culture movie legend. 

Contrary to this Sound of Freedom, made for a mere 14.6 million is connecting with audiences and succeeding beyond expectations. Based on a true story dealing with child trafficking why is the Hollywood media trying to bring this movie down ?

MI 7 Dead Reckoning WIN Indiana Jones FAIL & Sound of Freedom Summer Reviews

Remember the library?  Books ? Remember having to do research for a term paper. Well not you don’t need to do any of that. With AI platforms like Chat GPT the machines will just do it for you. But at least in the library there was a fiction and non-fiction section. You could easily navigate fact from fiction. 

Well that’s going to be hard to do when companies like IBM and Microsoft, Facebook and Google start to build in bias into AI. If I want to look up facts I don’t expect an opinion to be spat out by the machine. But remember AI doesn’t spring to life on its own. Humans input the data, and humans can be wrapped up in politics, ideologies and other opinions. Well IBM already has a political leaning so what’s next for the virtual world we all live in. Joker Folie a Deux Trailer Review Deep Dive Musical

And so it comes to pass that DeadPool and Wolverine finally get their chance to square off and team up in their own movie. For the Marvel universe it could be too little too late. Even though DeadPool (Ryan Reynolds) says he’s the Marvel Jesus hoping to reset the Marvel timeline. In any case I think we’re all excited to see the claws come out once more for Hugh Jackman and Wolverine. Sure he had a respectful send off in “Logan” but this could be the cherry on top. As the latest trailer dropped we get to see that Wolverine is not just a side character or cameo.
