This cold rainy days, make us thirsty for the sun. But our new guest will definitely bring you sunshine in your mind. 
We start our year 2020 with Oliver Nagel from Berlin.

He was born in Rüdersdorf and grew up in Havelland until he decided to move to Berlin in 2006. He spent his childhood disturbing the peace of the adults with the knob of his home stereo system in an enjoyable way. A little later, this abstract call for decibel-supported soul-building was creatively heightened by guitar and piano.  Inspired by the memory of music from his youngest days, he himself came to the radio from the first recordings he listened to at home, via nightly music broadcasts on the radio. Through later contacts and under the influence of a good friend, the gate to the music scene of the city of Berlin was enticingly opened to him until his first gig in 2017 at one of Berlin's largest party series "Bordel des Arts" in the Salon zur Wilden Renate with his former project Othertune. And so slowly the peculiar magnetism that seems to exist between aspiring and talented DJ's/producers and Berlin's big DJ consoles begins to have an effect on him.

Hey girls and boys and thanks for tuning in again to our weekly episode of the Ballroom Records Radioshow right here from Berlin presented by your host AlBird.

We hope you’re doing alright as life’s coming slowly back to, well not normal but at least a little bit easier again….some Clubs are opening its doors here in Berlin again, of course not for clubbing itself but at least you can have drinks and listen to some decent music.

In the meantime of course we will deliver some great music too, most of it from our three labels both recently released and upcoming and from friends’ labels….

@dielinamusic and I decided to re-record our set from Cirkus Tresolar (29-08-2020) in the Techno Tunnel, Gothenburg, as it wasn't recorded during the evening. 

This set is a slow, melodic techno trip where we play with decreasing the tempo of fast techno tracks, making them sound more intensive and present.

Es waren einmal... Drei Freunde mit Liebe im Herzen, Feuer im Blut, bunten Ideen im Kopf und einer großen Sehnsucht.  Eine Sehnsucht, alle Traumtänzer, Freaks, Gaukler und Elfen der Nacht um sich zu scharen und etwas ganz Besonderes zu kreieren. 

Sie erfüllten sich diesen Herzenswunsch, gründeten den PARADISE CIRCUS, und so hob sich der Vorhang zum ersten Mal am 30. März 2012. Damit war die Bühne bereit, für ein buntes Feiervolk, das sich in gegebener Circus-Manier mit den schönsten Federn schmückte und sich paradiesisch kostümierte.
Die Manage wurde mit den wildesten Phantastereien, wundervollsten Geschmeiden, magischsten Lichtern und glitzernsten Kreativitäten dekoriert. 

Die Musikanten, die bis heute den Circus mit elektronischer Musik verzaubern und die Bühne zum kochen brachten,  reichen von Marcus Meinhardt und Empro, über Ross Evana bis Rich Vom Dorf und vielen anderen wunderbaren Künstlern.

 Und so zieht der PARADISE CIRCUS weiterhin und wie gehabt, mit Pauken und Trompeten, viel Liebe und Herzblut durch die Stadt.  Deshalb haltet Ausschau, versammelt euch zu Vielen und kommt in Scharen.  Lasst euch verzaubern und verzaubert uns. 
Wir machen uns die Welt, wie sie uns gefällt...phantastisch und kunterbunt!
