If you've been keeping your eye on London's clubbing scene since the re-opening, then no doubt you would have seen Scarlett O'Malley's name plastered pretty much everywhere at the moment. The in demand DJ, founder of The Soul Exchange, Radio Station Manager at whynow and resident on Foundation FM has been smashing it lately, and with the clubs in mind, Scarlett has provided a killer mix that's dancefloor centric. It's a bit of a different vibe to the usual, but my god we're so here for it.

"This mix is pure house heaven and a real reflection on what tunes I have been feeling since the clubs have been reopened. Real house stompers, of course with some disco melodies and big soul vocal influences with two of my favourite artists ever Whitney and Mariah in there. I really love all the tunes in this, a mix to get a sweat on to on the dance floor! PREMIERE: Paawl - Looking [Deviant Episode]

AnnaOtta's iconic tracks “What if” and “Don't complain” are part of the duo's first album "What if" and were recorded in one take in an improvised live session. Robin Flux' remixes turn the songs into danceable versions of themselves without losing the distinctive and memorable sound of AnnaOtta's vocal alchemy. The remixes are dreamy trips into ambient deep house and UK inspired broken beats, relying on elaborate vocal processing and self-crafted generative sound synthesis algorithms.

Currently based in Seattle, I first met Parker while he was organizing Low Tide, one of the first consistent house and techno parties in Bellingham. Since then Benoit has become a sort of best-kept-secret in the growing PNW underground dance music scene, behind the decks of the community's independently thrown events and renegade-style parties.

However, this week Parker steps into the booth for his Kremwerk debut in support of Nikki Nair along side Peace Portal alumni Korra the Kid.

With such a promising start to bookings since venues have reopened, we're anxious to see Benoit on more lineups to come.

All the tracks you hear in the mix are things I've taken with me to recent gigs, so this mix is a pretty good representation of what a Loz Goddard DJ set sounds like right now. My productions and DJ sets are quite different, with the production side being much calmer on the whole. "The idea for this mix was to play a peak-time hour of old and new power house. I was really missing my records (they are all still in Berlin), as I have so much of this type of vibe on wax. So I searched the worldwide web and found a bunch of old and new tunes online.

I added quite a few Network Records tracks in there as that’s one of my all time fave labels and I’ve got a fair bit of old records in my collection. I found out they started to sell some of their back catalog online a few years back and had a little dig in there. Then I added some new bits I’ve been playing out lately that fit the vibe :)" - @nathaliecapello

Hot on the heels of his latest album 'World Is Too Loud' in the spring, and the recent Transit single, Third Attempt returns with a collaboration project with fellow Tromsø-based DJ and producer LP Martin, previously heard on the likes of Paper Disco, Full Pupp and Beatservice Records.
Percolating a swing-savvy mix of infectious slap bass, gnarly Rhodes and sun-bleached Balearic atmospheres, the duo's debut joint effort 'Muggost', features the whole palette of their funky sound grammar as it meshes together facets of jazz, ambient, house and, quite obviously, a quintessential dose of spaced-out disco, through one helluva brightly hued mosaic of textures and colours. 
The title-track 'Muggost' gets the ball rolling on a deft, hip-swaying note with its old-school Chicagoan shuffle, jacuzzi-warm riffs and ankle-snapping breaks. Tailored Ibizean guitar motifs smoothly and joyfully clash against rippling tides of piano and hazed-out bass moves. On 'Byen', smokey cotton club-like atmospheric tropes rapidly make way for a sensual melange of brittle strings and elastic bounce, all laced in the dreamiest of scenarios, sure to have you zoning out to a land of carefree sun-basking and lascivious idleness.
Getting the triple remix treatment, the flagship cut is turned into a proper club workout courtesy of rising Norwegian talent Blue Charm - bringing forth the jacking bravura of the track and optimising its DJ-friendly, rhythmic appeal. LP Martin then mucks in with his 'Apple' revisit; a lax dub variation under strong trip-hop influence and making generous use of the tape-echo to throw us headlong into a world of sedated quiet. Last but not least, Third Attempt throws us back in the heyday of DJ Shadow and instrumental hip-hop classics a la 'Building Steam...' - merging the vaporous beauty of textured synth tapestries with a steely, hard-as-nails drum programming of the finest standard.
