Blending Final DJS' synthwave touch, Paradisko and German Producer created a techy flavoured space disco tune, called Astropine.

Apart from the universe shifting original mix, the EP contains two remixes. A techno-ish and club shaking tune from the Mexican hands of Bufi whom has been enjoying the success with his latest remixes and Salvaje EP released from Discotexas. Another moody deep house tune made by Berlin/Istanbul duo, Kruse & Nuernberg's one of the fresh favorites, Jack In The Box.

Apart from the EP, stay tuned for an upcoming single remix from a surprise act !

Pineapple Pop’s  2nd EP RJCTD will be out on 6th June from London’s finest Sleazy Deep

Coming off his well-received debut EP “RVLTN”, Istanbul-based producer Pineapple Pop is really letting that Piña burst with “RJCTD”, a true East London warehouse-banger by picking up the grimy bass and garage sound of the UK and transforming it into an international house music-anthemAdding up to the original mix, London-based producer and head of Sleazy Deep, Rob Made clearly is turning back time by recreating the currently overly popular 90’s house vibe which also dips partly into techno, into a must-have remix to fill up floors of pop-up parties in Shoreditch and Dalston. 

Speaking of East London, we don’t have to look far as we simply move towards the Hackney Polo Club, which recently released through up & cominglabel Simma Black and are known for its fusion of garage, house anddancehall sounds. And again, the guys do not disappoint by adding theirunique spin to transform “RJCTD” it to a rugged street anthem.  

Closing out the sophomore release of Pineapple Pop is no other but Lisbon’s very own Xinobi, who jumped into the deep pool of sounds to splash us all with a remix that will take over beach clubs across Europe within a minute. 

“RJCTD” will be out on 6th June via Sleazy Deep Records and will be available through all major digital outlets worldwide.

The debut of the High Above The Ground's compilation series to bring awareness to Istanbul dance scene comes out on 16th June

The world is having troublesome days, so does Istanbul. Istanbul is not only struggling with political crisis but there's a cultural decay and also people are stepping away from the nightlife. But you know what ? Istanbul is still here, still strong and you can still hear the dance music rising from the hills of Istanbul.

Istanbul based label High Above the Ground (HATG)'s new series "You Are Istanbul" aiming to promote the sounds from Istanbul outside Turkey and aims to build an awareness about the Turkish dance music scene. To proceed this goal HATG gathered 5 artists for the first compilation of "You Are Istanbul : Koray T, Eren Erdol, Gadi Mitrani, Coşkun Akmeriç feat. Soyut Boyut.

Originally from Izmir and DJing for over 15 years house and tech house flavoured Koray T is a milestone for the Istanbul music scene. With his track Colorful World on this compilation, Koray T takes us to a deep yet groovy world.

Living in Barcelona, founder of the Istanbul based label Petra Digital, house lover Eren Erdol, gives us his track "Hold on To Love". Carrying influences both from Chicago and UK House, Eren Erdol's tune carries the element of 90's house music.

Having released a 12'' progressive house release called "Key of Stillness" from Kompakt's sublabel KX and included in compilations of Kompakt, Istanbul born and based Gadi Mitrani is not only an established producer but also a very known DJ. With his track "Drifter" in the compilation, Gadi creates a multi layered atmosphere with amazing use of pads and drifts around the elements of progressive and ethnic house.

Shifting through ethnic and minimal house, Coşkun Akmeriç is a subtle representative of Istanbul's music scene. Having released his latest EP, techy flavoured "All Kinds" from German based Reduced Records, Coşkun teamed up with the amazing improv electronic/jazz trio Soyut Boyut which consists of Sarp Maden, Engin Recepoğulları and Ediz Hafızoğlu and created a mix inbetween ethnic and tech house. "Slow Burning" is a journey of strings and electronic rhythms through the wilderness.

Four different touch, four diverse approach, one unique city. From the lovers/resisters of Istanbul to the world: High Above the Ground - You Are Istanbul #1 is out on 13th June.

Hemi Behmoaras is not a newbie. He’s been around for some time operating from Istanbul, Turkey, both as a dj, producer, promoter or film maker.

From Paradisko (his project with local DJ/producer Hakan Özkan) to Pineapple Pop (his solo outfit) was a small step, but after a couple of singles under his belt it was time to start using his own name: Hemi.

House influenced and oldies lover could be a good starting point for Hemi’s bio and his love for Detroit Swindle, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Ron Basejam or HNNY is no surprise.

Hemi debuted his first “Gentle” EP on NDYD with good chart presence. Discotexas will drop “JNT” – short for joint - mid June with remix duties handed to Jad & The, the Australian DJ/producer, formerly known as Jad & The Ladyboy.
