Innerground Records today unveil ‘About You’ by pioneering producer Carlito. The track was the third single from the Innerground 100 album, which marks the seminal label’s 100th release since it was launched by the legendary DJ Marky in 2003. One of the key figures in the growth of the more soulful side of drum & bass, Carlito has long been an inspiration to the Innerground sound. He returns to the label for ‘About You’, an energetic roller that balances male and female vocals over enchanting pads, twinkling synths and racing breaks.

The album includes tracks from some of the most exciting and best-respected names in Drum & Bass, including Marky himself, Alibi, Collette Warren, Paul SG, Pola & Bryson, Dr Meaker and more.

Albums like this don’t come along every day and whilst some artists now imitate with sights set firmly on commercial success only a select few can originate whilst continuing to cross boundaries so consistently.

For his first 4-tracker Jaise does exactly that, drawing on elements of jazz and fusion for 'Backwards Step' whilst taking a heavy plunge into early 2000s themed darkness for 'The Client'. With all the key components laid bare, Jaise conjures up a superb debut EP brimming with elegance and natural ability.

For Duburban music is their mission. Sound system culture their inspiration. Based in Huddersfield UK. Duo with Rob Duburban at the helm and Lewis Ola. Mainly playing and producing jungle and roots/dub built for sound systems. Golden era vibes a-plenty. They co-founded Junglism events in Huddersfield with Ark X / Simply Dread & BODA. They are resident DJs for the Sub:Cult hand built reggae sound system in West Yorkshire. Then also residents for Mood Swings Events and West Yorkshire Jungle Collective in Leeds. 

Rob also does a live radio online broadcast on www.bassport.fm/ weekly. Every Friday evening from 7-9 Pm (GMT), selecting the finest reggae/dub/roots/steppers + jungle vinyl + digital. Previously residing on Filth FM and Focus FM.
