 Amazing techno and nothing for weak nerves. Monya starts her own label Corresponding Positions with a belter of an ep. Nothing less then two originals produced by herself plus remixes by Perc and Bas Mooy. While the title track &gt;Steine Im WegVerweht&lt; is more about the atmosphere and depth of sounds. Perc and Bas Mooy both reworked the second track and definitely added a lot of raw power to this piece of vinyl. Its an authentic and varied 4 tracker which will for sure find ist way to plenty of record cases and triggers our curiosity for what Correspondign Positions will come up with in the future. Nitromi Galien 〜 Past Lives Storytelling 〜 Meet You Every Lifetime

Our October selected female artist come from Berlin and is part of the artistic network Female Pressure, created by Electric Indigo. Hailing from Poland, Monya has got such a huge bam in her face the first time she’s visited Tresor club, that she knew producing Techno music was her destiny. After a period of hard working and some nice connections, she has built up two solid labels where she could release some nice pieces of her own productions. At first, Berlin Consumer records, where you can find that really nice and very conceptual album « Somatics The book », including remixes from Steve Stoll and Bas Mooy, and later, Corresponding positions, where she released two nice EPs and there is more material to come in the near future. We can feel in her sound the influence of 70’s rock bands that she grew up listening to. The result is something between EBM and industrial techno. Expect almost saturated beats and acidic distortions.
