For this edition of our CODECAST Y sessions, where we're trying to bring the dancefloor home due to the situation we're living worldwide and bring to your feed sessions that are more energetic than our usual introspective vibed uploads, we are proud to present a Swedish talent who's selections for sure fit in that new category we're trying to create, Franz Jäger.

With early support and mentoring from Cari Lekebusch he first played at one of the infamous Underground Cult parties followed by numerous gigs all over Sweden including Club ‚mmmmm‘ in Stockholm. As resident of Schimmer Records, from Stuttgart and with his release on HAYES Collective in 2020 and his debut album on Diffuse Reality in 2021, he gained massive attention and received heavy support for his outstanding creative output.
Having had his first international appearance in Berlin for Room Lab shortly after, Franz Jäger is now part of both Schimmer Records and Thrust Agency. 

As he explores the depths of eletronic music with his distinctive combination of organic and broken sounds, he manages to create unique & dynamic atmospheres, full of energy & galloping grooves.

Warok imprint owner DJ and producer Clotur is one of the important figures on the current French and Tunisian techno scene.

Inspired by the percussive rhythms and atmospheric textures, he developed his own style, mixing hypnotic layers and catchy bassline.

In his discography, we find several releases on labels such as The Gods Planet, End of Perception, Northalssen records, One Instrument. As well as his latest and vinyl releases on his label such as Dimensions Doors, Ponorogo 1, Ponorogo 2 and 3.

EXHIBITION SESSION II

For quite some time I have been in the background working on developing my skills and knowledge. I was learning a ton about acoustics, psychoacoustics, immersive audio, mixing and mastering at school.
It's getting essential for me to use these skills because trying to understand physics, auditory perceiving & energy is a great way to implement them in my artistic choices. 

Exhibition Session I was made three years ago after visiting Katharsis. I was very inspired and made something reflecting my vision and feelings into sound. This time I'm enthusiastic about delivering a new Exhibition Session for you to listen to. It's a repertoire where I'm researching dynamics, space and auditory senses.

Beginning his career at an early age with several residencies across the Mexican city of Monterrey, music provided @menaceri the spark he had been seeking in life. Choosing to pursue this further, he relocated to Manchester to pursue his musical goals and it was here where he has established himself. 

Menaceri has recorded an exclusive mix for our DETECT series, one that runs through the BPM's with a distinctive chaotic selection style. Its backbreaking industrial kicks and ruthless tribal rhythm spirals into a journey of raw and uncompromising electronic psychedelia.
