TECH CLUBBERS PODCAST W/ PFIRTER

For the past fifteen years Argentinian-born, Barcelona-based producer Pfirter has been pushing a sound by turns steely, dark and uplifting, true to the founding principles of the techno's tetramorph but eager to throw his own vanguard, personal touch into the mix. 
From the early days onward, and no matter the medium of expression he's used, be it DJing, producing or as a label owner, Pfirter has kept working his magic with focus and style, gracing the likes of CLR, Figure and Stroboscopic Artefacts with some choice singles whilst headlining some of the most infamous electronic music bastions and events including Berghain, Tresor, Concrete, Awakenings and Time Warp.
2006 saw the birth of his own imprint, MindTrip, and that's become one of the brightest beacons in the ever-changing landscape of techno music; serving as both a landing platform of choice for his own output but also his close friends and collaborators' including Jonas Kopp, Stanislav Tolkachev, Dold, Fanon Flowers and more. In parallel, MindTrip also flourished through its monthly podcast series, welcoming the likes of Antigone, Markus Suckut, Milton Bradley, Pär Grindvik, Jeroen Search and a host more exciting and singular artists, all invited to present an hour of music that captures the spirit and values of MindTrip.
After releasing over fifty club-formatted records, time had come for Pfirter to take the leap with his debut full-length, 'The Empty Space', which provides a widescreen, panoramic view into the subtle intricacies and multi-level wealth of details of his craft, as well as the large spectrum of emotions his music merges and blends so organically.

✈ We are delighted to welcome Indian djs and producers AUDIO UNITS (Dynamic Reflection, Blackaxon).

The Units are brothers Ashwin and Ashrith who spend their time together visiting the deepest realms of techno huddled over their machines and drawing inspiration from science fiction, spatial geometry, architecture, and nature. Their obsession with electronic sounds goes back to the noise of ’80s video games and early introduction to computer programming.  
 
Across their discography, their artistic voice is both consistent and sublime, showcasing a unique perspective and technique. With a distinct sound as producers, Audio Units successfully capture and transfer it into their work as DJs. Their performances irradiate with cosmic warmth made possible by a deft, highly technical mixing style taking their audience on a voyage at light speed as a result of an entire lifetime dedicated to electronic music and a deep love of the machines that make it.
Beyond their artistry lies a boundless commitment to Beatworx, Afterworx, and Observant. As the founders of an electronic music school, nightlife agency, and record label, they provide a platform for aspirants to discover and sustain artistic endeavours in the electronic music ecosystem.

Dilemma Podcast #016 Zadig from Rouen (France) @zadig-construct_re-form One of the leading names in Paris’ contemporary scene, Zadig is one of the main forces responsible for
the return of the City of Light to worldwide prominence as a centre for forward-looking techno. A
participant in the ‘90s French rave scene in the hardcore and acid days, Sylvain Peltier found his true inspiration with the arrival of Mills, Surgeon, and Beltram and labels like Tresor, Lost, and Synewave and the techno that his style remains rooted in to this day. 
After moving to Paris in the mid-2000s, Zadig became quickly involved in the beginnings of what would become the present-day Parisian upswing making an early release in 2006 as Day is Dying on the Rouen-based Euro Visions label.
In 2009 he returned, this time as Zadig and this time to stay, quickly forging a relationship with the important Syncrophone label and distributor in Paris.
There has not been any looking back since, and as Paris’ techno scene continues to rise from the ashes of the early 2000s to the vibrant, world-recognized heights it now occupies, Zadig has made essential contributions to this ascendancy. 
Starting in 2011, he launched his Construct Re-Form label, which has
gone on to a residency at the legendary Rex Club and continues to debut and support bracing new French talent like Antigone, Voiski, Birth of Frequency, and Zadig himself.
His own discography also continues to grow, with releases on the reknown Deeply Rooted House in 2013, the New York-based Chronicle, Children of Tomorrow, and continued support from Syncrophone, as well as compilation appearances on Tresor, Reclaim Your City, and Studio R°. As Zadig’s reputation as a leader in the French scene has spread, he has gone on to play numerous dates around Europe, with appearances in Berghain and a deepening relationship with Tresor, at both Concrete and the Weather festival in Paris, and worldwide in New York and Argentina, alongside scene-leading contemporary talent and legends like Scion, Rødhåd, Peter van Hoesen, DVS1, Inigo Kennedy, Samuli Kemppi, Jonas Kopp, Johannes Volk, Shifted, Lucy, and many more. 2015 saw the debut of his Unforeseen Alliance live collaborative
project with label mates Voiski, Antigone, and Birth of Frequency, all of whom have moved on to increasing success as both Zadig and Construct Re-Form have gained recognition.
With Paris’ resurgent club scene blossoming to worldwide attention not seen since the ‘90s, it is the dedicated efforts of those like Sylvain Peltier who have helped to bring about this revival and continue to
lead it to new heights. As Zadig, as a label head, as a DJ, and as a central figure in its continued growth, he is an essential figure in its present and a leading light for its future.

BIO:

Francesco Visconti, better known as VSK, is an Italian techno dj and producer, born in Rome in 1986 and based in Berlin. Since his earliest youth he has had a huge passion for electronic music, and through hanging out at the famous record store from the Capital “Remix”, he was introduced to the world of djing when he wa only 16 years old.
He has got familiar to different forms of techno, his style ranging from a sound usually very hard and dark, often with industrial influences, to a very different one, deeper and more mental, both still easily recognizable as coming from the same mind.
He started to perform very early as a dj in the clubs of the Capital and from 2007 he was resident dj at Goa Club for two seasons.
At the same time he met the artist Ken Karter, who introduced him to the world of production and mastering. He began an education as an audio-engineer and sound-designer, in music and especially in television, working in different recording studios; currently he does this alongside his artistic career.
In 2010 he and his friends Conrad Van Orton and Vilix started their own label “Consumer Recreation Service”, which got immediate support from big names in the international techno scene.
Over the years he has relesed EPs on many other important labels such as 47, Mord, New Rhythmics, Planet Rhythm, Ear To Ground, Sonntag Morgen, Complex Adaptive System and Genesa. He works with many recognized artists. He performed and released with Scalamariya, which resulted in releases on Perc Trax. He released an EP with Giorgio Gigli on Planet Rhythm, collaborates with CVO, creating Symmetrical Behavior duo and publishing on Soma Records, as well as playing live act with Polish producer Michal Jablonski.

Last year, VSK established his own imprint - VSK Series - with VA of Kwartz, Ansome, Flaminia and his collabo with Michal Jablonski.

Our events are guided by 3 principles: exclusive line-ups, emerging local artists, and a good focus on visual arts.
