Written for and inspired by Leiliana Rose Wright at the request if her father, Brian Maker. 
Leiliana was failed by the very system that was put in place to protect her. Child protective services neglected to save this 4 year old girl, despite the numerous reports that were made of abuse she was suffering. Her life was taken at the hands of her own mother and mother's boyfriend on March 13th, 2016.

A Paradox, by definition is something that is both true and false at the same time. The wisdom of paradoxes is that they transcend our thought system, they are in tune not just with logical intelligence, but with existential wisdom that is at the roots of every deep and meaningful personal discovery. 

I learned from my failures every time that cell door closed with a hope of return to the free world one day. My miracle is that, I’M STILL HERE AND I AM FREE!  ....I claim nothing more than to be me. I AM PARADOX. 

My music will always tell the story of my life, my struggles, my people, my city, and what I have overcome. I grew up with hip hop and it gave meaning to my life and with that, I will always do my best to follow in the steps of those before me with passion and conviction.
