Previously appearing on Rekids Special Projects with ‘Afra’ and Rekids with ‘Embers’ and ‘We Don’t Flip’, Hybrasil's latest ‘Tuatha De Danaan EP’ sees the Irish-born, Berlin-based DJ/producer make his fourth appearance on Radio Slave’s imprint with five tracks of direct, powerful techno.

Title track ’Tuatha De Danann’ combines grinding textures and siren-esque leads under a lethal 4/4 pattern, leading into the trippy and trembling electronics of ‘Hill of Tara’. Featuring atmospheric vocals from Irish folk and soul singer Sarah McQuillan, the track is their first collaboration. 

‘Portal Dolmen’ sees crunching claps over vocal chops and sharp stabs before ‘Megalith’ brings a dose of dub techno aesthetics. Closer ‘Bealtaine’ sports subdued synth work under red hot percussion, bringing the dancefloor focussed release to a close. Additionally, the EP will feature an audio-visual collaboration with Tom Hodgkinson, laying the building blocks for a future AV show.

Following releases on Nina Kraviz’s Trip, UNCAGE, and Suara, the Existentia boss brings his hard-hitting techno stylings to Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects, delivering three fast-paced, high-energy cuts for his first appearance on the label.

Demonstrating an innate knowledge of intensely lively and direct techno, Flug flexes his production muscles across the EP. ‘AR0  (Original Mix)’ sees constantly evolving FM tones and crisp drum machines interlink for the duration, winding through a series of additional percussive flair and eerie, hypnotic pads.

‘AR01 (Jacking Mix)’ flips the original mix on its head, introducing shuffling chopped breakbeats to the mixture alongside steady machine drones and FX hits. ‘AR02 (Original Mix)’ takes a deeper turn, with hypnotic, filtered hits and sizzling 909 kits taking the forefront, rounding out another impressive release from both Flug and Rekids Special Projects.

With previous releases picking up heavy rotation from Truncate, Len Faki, Marcel Dettmann, and more, Brazilian producer Marcal shows no signs of slowing down with ‘Reduction Pt. 3’, his third appearance on Radio Slave’s techno-focused Rekids Special Projects imprint.

‘Cyclic Voltammetry’ opens the release with a barrage of hypnotic modulating FM tones and pounding kicks, before ‘Good Things’ brings trippy bleeps and phasing stereo FX across loose, shuffling percussion. The third track, ‘Droste Effect’ sees droning atmospherics and crunchy drums provide a bed for wriggling synths and eerie pads to shine through.

‘The Interloper’ follows suit, ramping up the intensity for a heavy heads-down affair, before closing track ‘Matsu’ twists dub-techno chords into a fast-paced stomper, offering a final dose of dancefloor artillery, rounding out another outstanding release from a rising star in techno.

Set up as the harder-hitting sister label to the lauded Rekids imprint, Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects has released music from Marco Faraone, SRVD, Anika Kunst, and more since its inception in 2017.

Confidential Recipe returns to Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects with four deep and tracky techno cuts.

Following his ‘What You Think EP’ in March this year, Cuyi Siu aka Confidential Recipe returns to Rekids Special Projects with ‘Hold That Jack EP’, turning in another set of fiercely no-nonsense techno cuts inspired by his formative years of clubbing in Venezuela.

“With this release, I want to show a different side of my vision for dance music, a tribute to the classic jacking minimal sound and Detroit techno that has influenced me since I started going to parties in my hometown, Maracaibo” - Confidential Recipe.

Leading the release, title track ‘Hold That Jack’ sees swaying synths, shuffling drums, and hyped vocal samples interplay for a seriously heavy techno cut, before ‘Senso’ adopts a more stripped back approach, injecting energetic drums, subtly evolving bleeps, and sliced samples for a heads-down trip. ‘Toolkit 2’ follows with chunky percussive hits rattling around a broken synth line destined for cavernous warehouses. Final track ‘Starter’ ups the tempo with heavy low-end and skipping hi-hats for a powerful and decisive end to the EP.

Born in Canada and now based in Berlin, having spent time in Los Angeles, Chicago, Barcelona, Toronto, and Mexico City and more in between, Raven is a singular artist distilling influences ranging from Techno, Electro, R&B and more into her own genre-spanning, vocal-driven productions. Following her debut EP ‘Flames’ on Rekids in 2020, which picked up support from the likes of Joy Orbison, Deetron, and many more, as well as an appearance on Amelie Lens’ Exhale imprint earlier this year, Berlin-based DJ/producer Raven returns to Radio Slave’s imprint once again with the fierce ‘Mania’ 12”.

With ‘Flames’ featuring five original tracks, Raven narrows her focus on ‘Mania’, turning in two killer techno cuts backed with alternative mixes of each. Leading the A side is ‘Nobody’, a hypnotic late-night affair peppered with emotive vocal hooks and trippy synth leads, followed by the ‘Sudden Urges’ mix, which sees the track stripped of its pulsing 4/4 and replaced with haunting atmospherics, breakbeats, and additional synth work.

On the flip, ‘Cold Sweat’ returns to the club with a dose of speaker-rattling kicks, mind-bending leads, and siren-esque effects before the ‘Comedown Mix’ brings a subtler approach, with electro-flecked drum patterns, dense ambience, and spacious reverberations rounding out a standout second release from Raven for Matt Edwards’ Rekids.

France-based Philippe Petit returns to Radio Slaves’ Rekids Special Projects with the six-track ‘Black Hole’ EP.

DJing since the early 90s, moving from Brussels to London before settling in Chamonix, France, Philippe Petit has been running both the Knotweed Records and Decision Making Theory labels for close to a decade now. Pushing music from the likes of Terrence Dixon, Opuswerk, Alberto Pascual alongside his own productions on these imprints, Petit has remained on the cutting edge of club-focused techno, earning him appearances at esteemed venues Berghain, Tresor, Corsica Studios and more.

Previously appearing on Rekids Special Projects with 2019’s ‘Anger EP’, Petit makes his second appearance on the label, turning in another set of stylistically diverse techno bombs. From the hypnotic synthesis and snaking acid lines of ‘Black Hole’ through to the laidback electro-infused live drums of ‘Lessons Learned’, Petit asserts his role as a critical underground figure in hard-hitting club music via his latest offering for Radio Slave’s techno-focused imprint.

Dustin Zahn drops ‘Feed The Fire EP’ ahead of full LP in November.

Active since the late 90’s, Dustin Zahn’s hypnotic and driving techno has consistently caught the ears of top DJs and labels, with releases and remixes on Chris Liebing’s CLR, James Ruskin’s Blueprint, and of course Radio Slave’s Rekids. Alongside his productions, Zahn runs the Enemy Records imprint, having released music from Regal, Truncate, and DVS1 alongside his own music since 2004.

For his latest offering on Rekids, which arrives ahead of his first full length album since 2014, Zahn leads the charge with four direct and expertly constructed techno cuts. Title track ‘Feed The Fire’ makes use of a snaking synth line, evolving in tandem with the sound of classic drum machines atop a pounding 4/4 pattern, while ‘Heresy’ leans towards the twilight hours, with tripped out bleeps, chugging percussion, and deep chords.

On the flip, ‘Profane Purposes’ sees bubbling synthesis alongside raucous claps and vocal cuts, making for a high octane techno bomb before ‘Golden Hour’ closes out the release, lowering the energy levels as twinkling keys, blissful pads, and dusty hats craft a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Grammy-nominated producer Nic Fanciulli joins Radio Slave’s Rekids this February with two thumping cuts entitled ‘Understand’.

Having appeared before as a remixer of Radio Slave’s seminal ‘Grindhouse’ in 2012, Saved Records founder Nic Fanciulli now finally joins the Rekids imprint for the first time with original material. Highly regarded for holding residencies in some of the biggest super clubs in the world like Ibiza’s Space and Pacha, the longstanding British DJ is also responsible for four legendary BBC Radio 1 Essential Mixes. His production distinction spans to a revered Grammy nomination at the age of only 26 for Best Recording Remix as part of Buick Project, to his acclaimed debut album 'My Heart' with collaborations alongside the likes of British Rock legend Damon Albarn.

The title track opens the release with submarine-like bleeps chiming over a mysterious voice repeating “understand”, while a growling bass dives deep beneath a thundering drum groove. On the flip, ‘Where U At’ features mesmerising vocal cries that flutter between upbeat stabs and bouncy percussion that expertly bolsters a driving low end.

Fanciulli’s arrival on Rekids follows a strong 2018 for the label featuring appearances from Butch, Mark Broom, Nocow, Sebo K and SRVD (Matt Edwards & Patrick Mason).
