Feryne (@feryne) is a true music aficionado with a restless passion for authentic electro music, who has been crafting electrifying mixes focused on electro, IDM, and techno since 2005. Her sonic journey has led her to grace the stages of acclaimed clubs and festivals across Hungary, while also leaving her mark on international venues in many other European cities. Currently based in the Netherlands, she continues to push musical boundaries as a resident DJ at Nijmegen's very own Open Source Radio. Welcome back to the December edition of the Gated podcast!
We're super happy to welcome Feryne this month, with a delicious set of varied tunes from the electro/acid/idm/techno realms.
A self-admitted music freak, Feryne has mixed her fave electro, idm and techno tracks since 2005. She's played at the many clubs and festivals of Hungary (Kontra, Wndrlnd, Corvintető, Müszi, Kuplung, R33, Egál, S.U.N festival, Ozora ect...) and other countries, like Germany, Croatia, Slovakia, Austria, Romania, France and of course the Netherlands (Drift Festival, Het Nest Festival, ADE etc).
She is currently based in Nijmegen (NL) and is also a resident DJ at
Nijmegen’s very own Open Source Radio.

We also have some new bits to start from Gated and a class release from Featherstone too from his recent EP for the Ernest's way label.

DJ BONEY S has her own rhythm in music and in life.
Before finally stepping behind the decks herself in 2020, DJ BONEY S already looked back on two decades of club culture experience.

Passionately collecting vinyl from various different genres for years, she started out as a party organiser in her native Belgium. Her behind the scenes work continued after relocating to Germany where she was heavily involved in establishing the PARALLEL nights at Griessmühle as a fixture of Berlin nightlife.

As a former booker and label head, DJ BONEY S developed her own unique taste that is first and foremost shaped by one timeless medium: VINYL. She draws from classic 90s sounds and queer techno, travelling to otherworldly electro or cold industrial beats. Sometimes dreamy, sometimes pouncing -- but always trippy -- her sets invite you to close your eyes. 

DJ BONEY S is resident of queer party SLIME (Berlin) and SOUSAMI (Cyprus), female:pressure member and publishes the PRALL podcast series. She is also one half of DJ Frottée and Hypnotist, both together with zikade.
