Atmospheric and textured, this latest podcast by Boskøw deploys itself like a film narrative taking you on an epic journey. Mixing ambient, downtempo, experimental and dub techno, his universe evolves among BPM & textures for the sole purpose of hypnotising the mind. He delivers in each work an introspective & esoteric electronic music, from seabeds to stationary orbits. 

After several years performing in Paris, the French DJ and producer is now based in Marseille. He released his first EP in 2018 on the Italian label Ovunqve.

This is an exclusive vinyl-only session with music from some of the artists from Mostra Barcelona Festival (@mostrabcn). The mix showcases the different styles you'll find at the festival, with a flowing coherence to the sound. It starts with ambient and electronica and continues into a hypnotic, gliding deeper techno sound. The two ABSIS tracks serve as a bridge between styles. The session concludes with broken rhythms of sinuous bass and Lynchian atmospheres. In this special mix, you'll find some of our favourite tracks from the last few years - classics already in the Mostra festival record bag.

Mostra is a brand new small-format festival of avant-garde and experimental electronic music, taking place 11-17 April in open air venues in Barcelona. Mostra is local, inclusive and sustainable: it proposes an alternative experience, providing visibility to artists not often seen in the main venues, and offering a counterpoint to the city's macro-festivals and commercial events. Emerald Garden is happy to open its ambient podcast channel with a first episode written by the talented Letvian artist living in Germany Laima Adelaide.

Laima is a student in classical composition at University of Music and the Performing Arts of Stuttgart, and yet, she shines by creating atonal and tuneless sounds. Her compositions are filled with wet and organic textures that will drive your soul to the farthest swamps. We are super happy to have her for our first podcast.

"Saebius (@saebiusmusic), the mysterious Marseille based young talent draws on a wide range of stylistic influences from Radiohead to Monolake. It led him to produce his own ambient and techno sound based on atmospheres and rhythms.  After 6 years experimenting sound design he finally released his first promising EP in 2017 on Lowless called Water Memories. He received good support from the scene. It was the occasion to share for the first time his singular hypnotic and melancholic signature. His second appearance on the label as remixer in the Four Sides of Orithyia released in November 2018. This offered him more visibility and support from actors like the respected Monument media. It naturally drove him into some other projects in 2019/2020 with an EP release on Ritualism (@ritualism-records) and  his Lifeform LP on Agos Universe (@agardenofsound). In 2022 Saebius released "Lurk in The Water" for the famous compilation "Rhizome" on Lowless (@lowless-music) and a new album is already scheduled on this same label in 2023".

It's with the utmost pleasure we're welcoming our next guest, diving back into the usual atmospheric vibes... Based in Mexico, the producer/Dj behind the label Secuencias Temporales delivers both beautifully curated discoveries thru his imprint, as well as himself refining his mixing with casket-treasured findings, for our ears delight. Jorge Eafhm gives here a lesson of elegance when it comes down to mixing melodies in the best sense of the word, blending them in a flowery, slightly nostalgic and deep, soulful tale. Can say without much doubt: probably one of the best and most atmospheric submissions we received so far. Infinitely thankful for this beautiful, chiseled work and the obvious passion put in it.
