Latmos is a Finnish Techno producer, DJ and live artist, known from his handcrafted and hypnotic tracks. All of his music is made live with hardware only. He first frew attention in the Techno community with his strong debut 12” Pool of Intuition EP, released on Samuli Kemppi’s and Frederik Hatsav’s label Blacklabel Distillery. Latmos has released music on labels such as Subosc and Cinus. 

The music of Latmos has been supported around the globe by well respected DJs like: Oscar Mulero, Patrik Skoog, Dimi Angelis, P.E.A.R.L, Denise Rabe, Magna Pia, Dino Sabatini, Vincent Neumann, Samuli Kemppi and Juho Kusti to name a few.

Latmos is known from his adventurous style as a DJ. He is able to transition effortlessly from a different mood or tempo to another and keep the listeners always on their toes. As a verstile DJ Latmos can adapt into many different venues and occasions, always bringing something fresh and interesting to the table.

ÆVII - Doltz

The Sardinia based artist Ludovica Frauu created the fourth journey of our Herbarium mix series. It's all about a very fresh sounding groovy journey, an exquisit selection of gems, we are very honoured to feature this wonderful trip. Its story reveals a wide spectrum of moods which are mixed together in a beautiful way. You will stumble upon diverse textures, polyrhythmic drums patterns and interesting harmonies.

To connect the mood of the mix to the herbal concept of the series, the artist chose the plant Capparis spinosa (caper), which she is particularly fond of. Her grandparents had a large plant in their garden. They used to pick its fruit and then process it. The plant is very hardy and grows even in the city, as it is able to penetrate its roots into the interstices of stones. In fact it is considered a rebel plant, because it decides how and where to grow. The flower is beautiful and elegant and is an unharvested fruit, bloomed.
The first part of the set reminds of the flower, the second of the plant itself.

In our fifth Vision, we delved deep into the enigmatic realms of creativity and summoned the awe-inspiring Brice Deloose, known to many as the enigmatic PAttrn. The journey was far from easy, as the cave's darkness presented us with countless challenges and fears to overcome. Yet, through sheer force of will, Brice emerged triumphant, having crafted something truly cerebral and awe-inspiring that pays tribute to the very lineage of our electronic musical heritage.
Only those who have indeed delved into the depths of this sonic landscape will be able to appreciate the historical layers that PAttrn has masterfully unveiled. With every beat, we are transported to a realm beyond our wildest imaginations, where the boundaries of sound and consciousness blur into a kaleidoscope of infinite complexity.
In the mesmerizing sonic landscapes crafted by PAttrn, we glimpse what humanity could be, resonating with the intricacy and nuance so desperately needed in this all-too-mundane world. So we thank you, PAttrn, for elevating us all and reminding us of the infinite potential of the human spirit through your stunning and otherworldly creations.

ABOUT
Sonic experiments derived from syncopated rhythms, intricately crafted ambiences, and patiently evolving textures, Pattrn’s work as a producer bases itself on the creation of space and its perception for the audience. Playing violin since the age of four and later on majoring in both acousmatic music composition and sound engineering, Pattrn’s precision is the fruit of a lifelong dedication to music of all forms, from creation in itself or through his implications in Brussels’ scene.

Beyond the years of technical know-how and self improvement in production, DJing, and live sets,  Brice Deloose aka Pattrn has been an active member of the local scene for quite some time. Cocreator of FTRSND, Brussels By Night Federation, Initiate, as well as having been the artistic director of Fuse club, Pattrn has spent much of his time promoting local artists and collectives to push forward Brussels' underground.

Having shared the decks with the likes of Luke Slater, Luigi Tozzi, Claudio PRC, Kangding Ray, Svreca, and many more, Pattrn uses his sets to impose his world of seamless hypnotic music to lure passionates for always one last dance.

VISION FIVE - PATTRN

Based in Manizales (Colombia) & a big lover of Nature, Lopar @lopar_music takes inspiration from his natural surroundings such as the indigenous colombian mountains, re-transmitting his vision of techno since 2015 — when he started at the Academia Decibel (Intelligent Division) in Medellin. 

His mixing style ranges from ambient, dub and minimal to deep & hypnotic techno & Drum’ & Bass, bordered by a melodic drumsy, silver lining. The DJ isn’t just a natural talent:

He's involved as part of the 'Natural collective' in Manizales, actively contributing to further develop the deep techno scene. Lopar carefully crafts his selections on each and every different occasion, showing adaptability and a comprehensive musical approach and sensitivity. He has played alongside many of his well known colleagues (Polygonia, A. Linell, etc).
