Today, we’re excited to open a new chapter for Embodiment with the launch of our redefined podcast series. For the first episode, we welcome back Owl, an incredible artist and one of the kindest souls, whose dreamlike mixing style never ceases to amaze us.

It’s been two years since he last played at one of our intimate gatherings, and our connection has only grown stronger ever since. We’re grateful to have him return to the platform with a beautifully crafted mix that sets the tone for the episodes to come.

Embodiment 066 - Owl

This recording is from the first edition of L’Appuntamento, a series of open-air listening sessions initiated by Villa Lontana Records and Donato Dozzy in Rome. Each gathering pairs a vinyl set by Dozzy with a live electroacoustic performance by a new-generation artist.

In this first edition, held in the garden of Villa Lontana, Donato Dozzy opened the evening with a selection of minimal, folkloric, and acoustic-rooted records — setting the tone for Verde Prato’s live performance.

L’Appuntamento is an ongoing invitation to pause, tune in, and share time through listening.

Nems-B (@nemsb) returns with a new mix for In Machines We Trust, and it’s a welcome one. We first connected years ago through Silent Season, when he contributed the beautifully drifting Campfire Stories 43 – Capsule in Orbit to Gliese 581. Since then, he’s been quietly building a strong body of work, with releases on labels like Phonons, On Board Music, Oslated, and Goldmin.

His sound sits in that sweet spot between deep listening and forward motion, dubby, atmospheric, and full of nuance. This new mix feels like a continuation of that world: textured and immersive, like stumbling on forgotten machines deep in the forest, still pulsing with signal.

A pleasure to reconnect. Let this one unfold.

Equipped with an ISO420 mixer, Pulsar-23, H90 FX, three turntables, and a crate full of heavyweight rhythms, ABSIS delivered a beautifully crafted dub session that warmed the dancefloor on Saturday morning.
