Parallel Sounds Presents DLR at Mango’s Falmouth
Parallel Sounds is holding another spine chilling event for the second time running!

Parallel Sounds an events management group, have announced that once again they will be returning to Mango’s Bar and Nightclub in Falmouth. On May the 12th 2016 from 9pm until 2am, the dBs Music students will bring a wide variety of electronic music genres that will create a fresh array of music for your listening pleasure.

After their success in May 2015, the Parallel Sounds team are primed to bring another night of hedonism to Falmouth,Cornwall. Cutting-edge Drum & Bass from the infamous DLR (Metalheadz/Shogun/Dispatch) will be the main room focus, room two will feature house and trap influences from the supportive dbs Music Degree students. 

In 2012, DLR jumped to the forefront of the scene with his unique minimal, dark drum & bass as part of Octane & DLR, with their debut album 'Method In The Madness'; named by Kmag as one of the Top 5 Albums of the Year, with tracks “Murmur” and “Set Up The Set” gaining heavy support from the scenes best DJ's, not to mention endless airplay on Radio 1. DLR’s career really picked up pace at the start of 2013 in a dramatic way by announcing a solo stance and went on to create some of the year’s best loved tracks on labels including Dispatch Recordings, Horizons Music and Shogun Audio; collaborating with a plethora of producers on the way such as Hydro, Mako, Villem, Prolix and Break. In the 6 months he has gained legendary status by releasing new material with the likes of Nymfo & Break, more solo material and has a multitude of other projects in the pipeline. As a DJ he is one of the most technical on the planet!

Last year was a great success for the Parallel Sounds student project, their previous event at Mango’s Bar and Nightclub, was one of the most proudest and the most surprising moment for the students during their degree course. This year they are hoping to repeat their success and would like to invite you to join them on the dancefloor.
