In the distance he could see the horizon, the end was in sight. Was he being entirely reasonable? Were his intentions pure?

Probably not. But as the car whizzed towards the cliff edge like some sort of extra from Thelma and Lousie, he cared little but for his decisions.

The Aviary EP is a personal document of the artist's life setting out on the road travelling from his home country of Australia through Asia before landing in Germany. Along the way he observes experiences and reimagines them through his production, transcribing visual and tactile life experiences from the lens of a parallel reality named The Aviary.

@SCIFACT is a Bristol-based record label interested in the realm of underground electronic music, unrestricted by genre. The first release comes from local producer @Zobol, with a 5 track EP, Foreign Objects, consisting of deep, melodic Electro with a dark edge.

Foreign Objects is the debut 12” from British artist Jon Chmielewski under the alias Zobol. The EP title alludes to a near death experience that resulted in Chmielewski being admitted into a Panamanian hospital with sepsis due to two shards of metal (from a dental drill) being accidentally sewn into his jaw after a traumatic wisdom tooth removal. The record artwork depicts a CT scan revealing the ‘foreign objects’ in his cranium.
