Berlin-based rising producer Yannek Maunz and talented singer and songwriter Johanson are debuting on Bar 25 Music with "Get Out" EP.

Yannek Maunz is known for his deep, melodic, and bass-heavy beats. He has developed a signature sound that is created using analog synths, organic percussion, and memorable melodies. Over the past two years, his music has been steadily gaining popularity on dance floors and streaming platforms alike. Despite having released on well-established labels such as Parquet, 3000°, Dantze, and Katermukke, he co-founded his own label, YION Berlin. Here, he not only releases his own music but also works on experimental projects such as DAS MAER, which combines deep house beats with the aesthetics of German New Wave music.

"Get Out" is a fresh and playful track that showcases both Yannek Maunz's production skills and Johanson's vocal prowess. The combination of deep basslines and catchy melodies is sure to get listeners moving on the dancefloor. For their fifth release on their own label Around Midnight, French duo Chambord entrusted both Fate and Friendship : this new “Fortune Teller” EP can be read like palm lines where 3 originals are craftily intertwined with 3 remixes.

Chambord’s long-term friendship with French DJ and producer Roze allowed them to develop a slightly different sound thread running through the whole EP : mystical beats support organic guitars and/or piano anthems which act as the main characters of the story. The remix of each track can be then heard as a sequel, with its own color and dramatic touch.

“Fortune Teller” sets the tone with its ascending and mesmerizing beats, while the guitar pinches drop like touches of sunlight on a peaceful sea of piano notes.
On Valentin Huedo’s version one can sense his Ibiza touch thanks to the addition of diffracted vocals and the strengthening of the baseline that turn the track into an essential club anthem.

“The Alchemist” puts the drums forward with a “bonfire” vibe that is heightened by tribe vocals. In contrast, the light electronic tunes bring a sense of togetherness : a sound formula that rises high into the night sky.
In Wahm’s lively remix, the psychedelic aspect of the track is enhanced with a thrilling combination of higher pitches and electric guitar, reminders of the roaring scene of Casablanca, Wahm’s native city.

“Merlin Diviner” embarks us on a soulful journey with its warm baseline mixed with solar guitar touches and ascending keyboards effects inspired by Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. For his second collaboration with Chambord, Dandara throws a dark yet enchanting touch to the track by using deeper beats that make the guitar part shine even more, thereby tracing a stellar pathway to any club or festival.

With its mystic yet joyful musical storyline, no doubt that “Fortune Teller” will put a spell on your ears and your heart thanks to its enchanting diversity.

The beautiful port city at the coast of Morocco is where they start their series 'A Day In'. The first episode was part of MOGA creation, a collaborative project with electronic artists and traditional Moroccan musicians. In the sacred Medina of Essaouira, they fused Gnawa music with their electronic sounds together with Maalem Omar Hayat and his crotales players. A performance that was repeated live at Moga Festival, and was captured in a 2-track EP 'Essaouira'

Sabo's record label, Sol Selectas embarks on its annual journey around the world with the 2023 edition of the imprint's Summer Sol compilation.

The eight edition collects organic tracks by artists that are from different parts of the world in a celebration of diversity and different cultures. Featuring music from Sol Selectas regulars such as Safar (FR), Hot Oasis, Sabo, Raidho and Guy Maayan, it also features music from numerous artists making their record label debut.

Although organic house is the genre the release orientates around, like the earth orbiting the sun, the release is filled with diversity, and includes genres ranging from Afro house to downtempo.

The release features music from countries such as Tunisia, Israel, Morocco, Poland, America and Iran. The artwork by Helia Jamali portrays the moment that we catch the light and the energetic rays of the sun activate our spirit through a divine connection.

Thomas and Julien are Dutch brothers from South of France. They propose either Hybrid DJ or live acts cutting from Jazz, Techno, House and melodic mixing several genres while keeping this uplifting, dirty and groovy feel. 

Passionates in authentic sounds, they produce their music through field recordings. Their video concept "A Day In” translates cultures through field recordings and collaborations with local and traditional musicians. They already have concluded first collaborations with Gnawa musicians in Morocco, Huichol tribe musicians in Mexico, Icelandic choir, and musicians from Osaka, Bengalor, Fiji Island, Bangkok and more. 

With releases on Crosstown Rebels, DGTL, Sapiens, Bar 25 and their own imprint, Klassified Records, the two brothers also run the Klassified Studios, a co-creative space in Amsterdam.
