A fantastic start to 2023. Dreamscape / Crania chapeau! Location, production, and all the fun anomalies made this night memorable and the recording fire. Taking over from DJ Harvey made me kick off the set light and tropical before I found a clear direction on where to take things. Shout out to @dramian for closing it so tastefully, and much love to everyone for the overwhelming feedback this weekend.

Grateful I get to play these beautiful pieces. Many unreleased, so high fives to all the studio nerds out there i admire.

An unplanned joining of our set times turned into one of the most special b2b sets we have performed thus far. The electricity in the air was unforgettable. And for that reason we would like to share this set with you all. We have layered  the acoustic audio over the set so you can hopefully feel the energy of the dance floor on that incredible night.

 Here is the recording of my very first sunrise set at Burning Man 2018 in the Black Rock Desert. I started playing around 5:45 am, the lights and lasers were still glowing in the cold darkness of the night..as the songs were passing by, the sky turned blue and the horizon warmer. Burners were all facing the deep playa, waiting for the sun to appear. It was an honour to soundtrack this moment and share music in such a magical place. No matter how hard I try, words can barely describe the energy and emotions felt in that instant... I hope music can express it better. 

I'd like to thank Maxa Camp & The Gardens of Babylon for inviting me to play on this beautiful Xaman Art Car...the mystical blue deer.   I’m very grateful to have shared this moment with so many incredible souls, old and new friends.

One particular day will be engraved in our mind, it was the day when the Peacocks met the Cobra, we were kept under his spell and could not stop dancing with each other from day till dawn. 

The dusty Afrikaburn showed us the way where art is the getaway.

John O'Callaghan - Live @ Luminosity 2019

This was my first Fusion Festival, popped my Fusion cherrrrry!!! 

I arrived just before my set , they took me to the stage in a car covered in graffiti that looked like it was taken out of the garbage dump, but blended in perfectly with the surroundings, and had an extra roar that gave it its character when the dreadlocked driver pushed on the gas. I found labels and trinkets in the car from many years ago.   Totally added to the experience. 

Arrived to Kerala Dust playing live, and thousands of people in front of me. 

What i loved about this stage, is that it was just about 10 inches off the ground , so still had that intimate connection to the crowd.  Thats something I struggle with sometimes at festivals, being high up on a stage and the distance between the crowd with those metal barriers disconnecting us. 

The actual set felt electric, the vibes were fresh, and they were high, so i fed on that fresh energy and we danced till sunset.  I even got a polaroid from a lady **if you know who you are ** say hi -----     that said hero on it.   

super touching experience, was soooo short and sweet. 

ill never forget my experience with Floyd Lavine, who i got to hang out with for an hour.  he came to my set at the beginnning and was total fan boy, totally unexpected.   afterwards i ran into him in the artist grounds, and we hung out danacing and talking with his gf and his friends somehow the conversation turned to politics, and it got heated.   not that i know anything about politics, :)

Neptune Project 6hr Set Live At Château De Woo² Atlanta 2019

It’s pretty hard to describe anything from Burning Man without using phrases, sounding pathetic or cheesy. 
So maybe I shouldn’t try. Or I just don’t care about it?
Pablo asked for a little intro about my set in the tie-up night with Robot Heart when I played the Mayan Warrior art car, so here we go:
Every night, when the Mayan Warrior art car leaves its camp on it’s way to the deep playa it feels pretty sublime, like a wake up call for the rave kids with this drum beats, like a ritual where they follow it’s spiritual leader, the warrior dancer follow their flagship art car, it’s getting more and more crowded, surrounded by hundreds of bikes and of course I’m super nervous entering this elevated Dj booth, shaking from the bass or is it just me? And from one moment to another I am in the middle of lasers and fire, I am taking over the booth and after a second I’ve forgotten every fear and just start playing...

The flagship artcar of the deer impressively opens the way in the desert to welcome the first rays of the sun. I can hardly describe the pleasure and joy I felt that day.

Thomas and Julien are Dutch brothers from South of France. They propose either Hybrid DJ or live acts cutting from Jazz, House & Techno  mixing several genres while keeping this uplifting, dirty and groovy feel. 

Passionates in authentic sounds, they produce their music through field recordings. Their video concept "A Day In” translates cultures through field recordings and collaborations with local and traditional musicians. They already have concluded first collaborations with Gnawa musicians in Morocco, Huichol tribe musicians in Mexico, Icelandic choir, and musicians from Osaka, Bengalor, Fiji Island, Bangkok and more. 

With releases on Crosstown Rebels, DGTL, Sapiens, Bar 25 and their own imprint, Klassified Records, the two brothers also run the Klassified Studios, a co-creative space in Amsterdam.
