OMEN Recordings celebrates another milestone on our 30th release with HATELOVE returning to the label. This time with his own EP, the Polish artist brings four intense original tracks that take aim towards new boundaries of underground music. The young producer shows off his impressive uniquely developed aggressive style of Techno with clear influences from Industrial and Metal. On remix duties we have brought back OMEN favorite EAS along with label boss AXKAN.

Manhunt RM - Pounding broken-beat groove stays relentless throughout with vocal akin to death metal taking it over the top. Peak-time dark and twisted energy. 

Forbidden Pleasure - Mechanical rhythms and an 80’s-inspired arpeggiated bassline get tossed around in distortion as the arrangement marches on with class. Straightforward dark dance number for the warehouse.

Walking Alone Again Without A Shadow - Noise-engulfed madness that rallies on to psychedelic territory midway through, only to terrorize you back into a frenzy til the end. Mesmerizing Industrial with a heavy helping of brutality.

There Are Worse Things Than Dying - Another infectious breakbeat carries the track along as it dives into pools of Industrial and Acid. God-mode distortion tones meet haunting cinematic themes on the dance floor.

Forbidden Pleasure (EAS Remix) - Slamming reimagination chock full of 90’s rave influences bring a contagious high energy to the air and an infallible groove to your feet. Tireless yet tight Dark Techno ready to fill any size floor.

Manhunt RM (AXKAN Remix) - Thematic experimental interpretation of original skips the drums for when its breakdown time. Anxiety-inducing evil lullaby.

The title of the EP refers to Ilya's passion for exploring an intuitive approach to music production, which allows him to create extraordinary compositions. «One Second Ahead» illustrates how Ilya works with his analog setup to explore the magical interaction of the raw futuristic sounds with the hypnotic grooves of classic techno. The movement of various minimalist sequences immerses the listener in a trance, as well as the author’s approach to the sound-design, which became a huge part of the atmosphere that surrounds this release.
