Keeping with the label’s modus operandi, the compilation is packed with iconic, raw and uncompromising techno, featuring 13 artists new and old to the imprint, including a re-release of a classic Drax aka Thomas P. Heckmann track from 1993. 

To coincide with the launch of the compilation, Monnom Black will hold its first highly-anticipated label party. Locking arms with the notorious underground Dutch promoters Reaktor, known for their challenging events and pushing the boundaries of what techno has to offer. Together they will celebrate with an electronic onslaught on New Year’s Eve in Amsterdam’s Elementstraat Warehouse. A location cut to the bone that perfectly encapsulates the label and promoters combined vision and ethos.

Dax J curates the night fusing the label together for a special moment in time, with the titan warehouse opening up two of its rooms hosting a monster line up with the likes of CJ Bolland, Regis as CUB, Thomas P. Heckmann, I Hate Models, UVB, Stranger, Zanias, Cressida, Inhalt Der Nacht, Raffaele Attanasio, Tommy Holohan and Remco Beekwilder.

Soma has been the main home for Rebekah’s productions throughout recent years, when not releasing on Perc Trax, Mord, Sonic Groove, as well as her own impressive Elements imprint, which hosted her latest split release alongside Lag. The Berlin-based British producer and DJ Mag cover star is one of the most influential artists at the helm of the brutal techno movement and ‘Murder In Birmingham’ - an homage to her home - is further validation of this fact.

With its thundering bass, robust percussion and haunting aesthetic, ‘Murder In Birmingham’ epitomises Rebekah and all that she stands for. Nodding to early rave, ‘Shutter’ is next featuring powerful drums and twisted atmospherics before finishing with the ominous ‘Peaking’ to conclude the release with a storm of industrial sound.

DLV is the driving force behind Acid Techno Techno Club and now self-releases three of his powerful dance floor weapons.  

Acid Techno Techno Club is an organization run by DLV that meets to discuss, show, and promote acid techno in a local community setting and it has given the Austrian artist and party promoter a cult following both locally and internationally. 

His hard hitting, no frills and direct sound is pure fire on the dance floor and can be heard on his remixes for KAS:ST and Hadone, in addition to his pounding sets at his parties. 

'Rave instructor' has lasers fired out of a gun shooting across a flat footed kick drum that prowls you forwards. Vocal stabs add fuel to the fire and eventually a frazzled synth breaks free to get hands in the air. 
The excellent ‘Space Machine' is another futurist techno banger, with twisted acid lines weaving in and out of the hammering drums while bright synth patterns light up the skies. 

Last but not least, 'Transmission' brings darker energies with its stomping kicks, industrial textures and old school breakbeat flourishes all making for a hugely physical and immediate impact.
