Starting our week off with a bang, as Galway based producer Intruder joins our ever growing premiere series, with a jittering broken beat thriller. This is straight power, as reverb drenched atmospheres meet pounding bass drums to great effect.

Intruder burst into the Galway techno community in 2019 where he formed his identity of texture heavy and broken industrial sounds. Intruder’s name was quickly associated with high octane distorted rhythms, pushing off kilter sounds, raw aggression and dynamic tension. His productions have appeared on labels such as Occult Rhythm’s, Pure Hate and Crusade. Intruder’s track have a comprehensive identity as his music is drenched in chewy kicks and clattering percussion while continually being moulded by his love for rhythm and power. 

Intruder is half of the brains of Galway’s Sync Collective along with Elliot, who are pushing the Galway techno to tougher and darker territories. Constantly keeping a niche sound for the label and controlling the high caliber of artists that have come through while running night club events and illegal raves. 

Intruder has shared the stage with some of techno’s finest including; Dahryl, Special Request, Charlie Sparks and SHXCXCHCXSH. Intruder also promises some more large announcements on the way for the later end of 2022.

Intruder’s debut on Four Four Magazine comes in the form of a murky broken techno slammer. Intruder calls on stepping rhythms, heading banging bass drums, growling percussive swings and mangled stabs to create a rather frenzied techno thriller. The track leads from high intensity hammering into murky submerged climates to great effect. This is industrial techno just how I like it.

wae.wav es una DJ sevillana que ha conseguido hacerse un hueco en la escena techno malagueña.

Su primer contacto con la escena fue en Berlín, donde conoció las diferentes tendencias que brinda la capital alemana. Melómana por naturaleza, tuvo experiencias con el bajo y la guitarra, decantándose finalmente por el mundo de la electrónica. 

Pese a su corta carrera wae.wav es actualmente una DJ con mucho potencial, que ha llegado ha hacerse un hueco en salas como The Club o Velvet,  llegando a compartir cartel junto a artistas como Sara Landry y Horacio Cruz siendo parte del line up del aniversario del colectivo @abstractechno .

Actualmente, wae.wav se encuentra inmersa en la producción musical, lo que le hace estar aún más en el foco.

En esta ocasión nos trae una sesión en la que reluce un techno frenético y emotivo cargado de percusiones características del hard groove con referencias actuales destacadas como Alarico, Chlär o SHDW & Obscure Shape hasta clasicos como Lars Klein o David Moleon. Una sesión actual con un sonido noventero llena de movimiento a base de percusiones y sonidos tribales que no te dejará ni un minuto de respiro

After OW001's maiden-voyage into outer space, Outworld now takes us to the underworld courtesy of label head Klangkuenstler's 'Balthazar' EP, which marries raw peaktime-power with claustrophobic-come-ecstatic atmospheres, served over the course of four tracks.
The devil's dancing on the title-track: as serrated off-hits shatter on tough kicks, a wicked saw-riff begins to drill through the drums as if summoned from Hades. In contrast, the bass-driven body and pulsating sinus-tone of 'Zorn Amons' grind like teeth as they build in tension. A moment of illusive release comes with 'Das Schattenreich', on which the reverberating, fast-paced percussion
runs for escape, hunted fiercely by a meaty trance-lead. On 'Jenseits', though, Klangkuenstler pulls us back into purgatory, showcasing a dramatic end to a carefully crafted and devilishly fun EP of rough club bangers.

Canada's Atroxx is set to release massive forthcoming collaboration with fellow Montreal based producer Mike Laz on his own label Starskream on August 23rd. 

The collaboration between Atroxx and the up-and-coming techno prodigy will be the seventh stellar release on Starskream. Named after Slipknot’s DJ Starscream, the label has a similar ethos to the heavy metal juggernauts with a focus on menacing, bass-driven, unapologetic techno.

The four track EP also features two mixes from Dutch producer and internationally recognised name in techno, Industrialyzer. The first is a heavy techno weapon that packs a punch at the same time as inviting the listener to become entirely immersed in the kick driven stomper. Industrialyzer’s Warehouse mix cranks things up even further with enough industrial-strength percussion and conjuring synths to dominate even the most formidable of dancefloors.

Known for releasing on labels such as Work Them Records and his own co-run E-Missions, P.Leone has firmly become of the most exciting artists within the inner circles of driving underground music. The Berlin-based American artist and Radio Slave collaborator is now welcomed back to Rekids, bringing his versatile sound that encompasses dark techno and groove driven house.

'Beyond Me' opens with eerie warehouse glitches, cavernous drums that ring out into a huge open space while unsettling pads and textures grab your attention, 'Hard to Find' is a rugged, relentless cut with perfectly forward moving rhythm with detailed edgy synths that keep you in suspense.
