this is the live i've played in Tel aviv last week end....only "retro" tracks for a retro party....and it worked !!!! I was the first surprised....as the old staf sounds, of course, less good than the new one....But it was fun to play some "goa" hits again :D

The ever reliable Lewis Fautzi returns to Soma with his furious brand of deep and hypnotic Techno. We also welcome debuts on the label in the form of two stunning remixes by international Techno stars, Sleeparchive & Sigha, who both turn in very unique takes on Fautzi's work.

Fautzi's Eerie opens the EP with deep pulsating rhythms and a real tripped out feel as each element of the track synchronises to create that perfect Techno tool. Berlin's Sleeparchive delivers an immense and ferocious version of Eerie, turning the deep original into a wild, mechanical workout. The darker vibes continue as Fautzi unleashes Horizontz with its stuttered percussive workout that punctuates rasping white noise and growling synths which modulate effortlessly through the track creating the desired tension. Our Circula Sound boss Sigha debuts on Soma and his version of Horizontz takes on a whole new life as his more subtle and melodic approach feeds a powerful and carefully crafted beast. Fautzi rounds off his latest Soma EP with Mental Circuits, once again going down a deep and murky path as understated rhythms through the synth and percussive work build the pressure.

Fautzi is calmly climbing into the higher echelons of the Techno scene and with releases like this, its clear to see why.
