[ER]cast 002 został nagrany przez KUFU, DJ-a z Kostrzyna nad Odrą. Przygodę z muzyką elektroniczną zaczął stosunkowo niedawno bo w 2015r. Wtedy liczyła się tylko zabawa, ale rok później spróbował własnych sił w miksowaniu. Na początku grał w domowych zaciszach i garażach z osobami, które dzisiaj współtworzą TheError. W 2019r. dołączył do Techno Expedition gdzie nabrał sporego doświadczenia i pewności siebie. Grał m. in. w Berlinie, Braunschweig, Warszawie, Szczecinie, Poznaniu, Gorzowie Wlkp, Zielonej Górze. KUFU lubi pograć mocniej, starannie dobierając selekcję tak by wszystko zaczynało się płynnie zazębiać i coraz szybciej rozpędzać. Przeważnie w jego setach usłyszycie hipnotyczne techno 4x4 z mrocznym charakterem, ale nie ogranicza się i jest w stanie pograć również Minimal, TechHouse, DubTech, Acid, Hard.

DJ, producer, promoter and co-founder of Pure.Sounds Collective with years of experience behind the decks. Few years ago after some break, he returned to DJing and techno production, i.e. the genre from which he began his musical adventure. In the meantime he collected gear to return to performing Live – but this time only with dawless setup. So far, he had the opportunity to play it in few finest polish clubs; Cialo – Wroclaw, Szpitalna 1, Warsztat, STK47 – Cracow, Mozg - Bydgoszcz and CEL - Katowice

He played in Czwórka Polish Radio 12”/ h series hosted by DJ Bert and The Blue Oyster. He has also recorded several podcasts, incl. for: DSTM, Behind The Stage, Strikt, Polish Techno.logy Wake & Rave, MWTG, Breslau Techno or T52.FM both as live P.A. and DJ set.

He released his music so far on such labels as; DSTM, Dolma, Refined Format, Black Square Recordings, Bunk3r R3cords, Breslau Techno as well as his own RTL imprint with appearance on Beatport playlists: Best New Hard Techno, Closing Essentials, Staff Picks and TOP100. His latest EP containing 5 tracks has been recently released by the Italian label DSTM, thus joining the DSTM family containing artists like: Aahan, Lars Huismann, Casual Treatment, Don Woezik, Rave Syndicate, V111 or VTSS. Tracks like Solid State, Blackmail and Dystopia met with very good feedback and support from several well-known names of the techno scene like: Charlotte De Witte, Pet Duo or Fernanda Martins.

His track "Shinkari Valley" was a part of Believe in Freedom of Choice and Democracy compilation released by Warsaw - 999, among such great artists as Deas, Sept, Szmer, Concept Of Thrill, Błażej Malinowski, Michal Jablonski and many others.

His friend Insect affectionately called him "the least appreciated Polish techno producer". However, he is consistently trying to make his presence known on the Polish scene. Currently preparing a lot of new material, another solid EP is waiting to be released, which should see the daylight soon!

Having cut his cloth in the London underground party scene, Maxx quickly cemented his reputation as a technically accomplished DJ with an ear for quality, genre-transcending techno. He then went on to headline and play parties in most of the major cities around Europe and beyond.

A formally trained piano player, and with a diploma in Music Technology and Sound Engineering, Maxx runs his own label Polymeric Records, works as Label Manager for Molecular Recordings, owned by Marco Lenzi, and he worked for 6 years as Label Manager for Austrian label Carbon Audio. He recently quit this position to concentrate on the work for Molecular Recordings. All of these labels are available on vinyl, as MAXX is still making a point of supporting the media. As a matter of facts, he still plays vinyl at his gigs.

After moving to London from Italy, where he was born, MAXX has released over 100 tracks, including vinyl releases on Polymeric, Involve, Primate, Suspected, Physical, Berlin Invasion, Carbon Audio, Generator UK, Killawatts, Open Source, Techno Sessions, Interstate One, Interstate Colour, and Reborn UK, collaborating along the way with many great artists, like DJ ESP, Orlando Voorn, Marco Lenzi, and Pounding Grooves. His work has also been remixed by some great Techno producers, like Steve Stoll, Orlando Voorn, DJ ESP aka Woody McBride, Jam El Mar from Jam & Spoon, Nihil Young, Dolby D, and Subject One, to name few.

Lost In Ether | Podcast #179 | Rommek

After great podcasts in 2016 (with Aimee's violin) and 2019 (as Torn Relics) we are happy to share with you the third mix of Rommek exclusively recorded for Lost In Ether!

BIO:
As a well-established artist, Rommek has creatively expanded in his own sound, as well as having caved his way into the current techno and experimental scenes. His extensive interest in sound design is crafted within the dense atmospheres, heavy broken drums and dynamic tones found within his productions.
The London based producer released his debut 12” 'Thought Patterns EP' on Weekend Circuit in 2014. Since then, he’s released music on Leyla records, Methodical and in 2016 he joined the seminal Blueprint Records.
After various releases including “Moth Hole” “Arcane” and contributing to the 20 years ‘Structures and Solutions’ compilation, he gained a wide range of noteworthy support and grew within the blueprint family. In 2018, Rommek completed his most establish work to date, the ‘Set In Stone Trilogy’. The three part release compromises of 12 tracks, original and remixes from key members of the Blueprint team, James Ruskin, OVR, Broken English Club and Makaton.
Torn Relics, the experimental project between Rommek + Aimee Mullen was formed during 2018. Together, they utilise a range of classical and electronic instruments to create a rich and twisted sound pallet, mixing cyber-punk electronics with tribalistic rhythms. Their debut EP, The Poisoned Chalice, released on Sacred Court, featured a remix by label owner SNTS. In 2020 Torn Relics – Abolish The Dogma 8-track Album was released on Leyla Records. From this, it’s clear that Rommek is driven to continue expanding his capabilities and keep things moving forward.
