Familiar Places/The Beach (original mix)

Paranoid Winter’s debut album, ‘Thaw’, is the follow-up to the group’s self-titled, six-track EP, which was released as a free podcast in late 2014 via the Paranoid Foundation website. As with the EP, ‘Thaw’ includes the vocals of Claire Norman and Cris Lee.  ‘Words (Fail Us)’ provides a bruising take on one of Claire’s solo tracks; her wordless vocals underpin a disintegrating mass of synths, dissonant guitar and echoing bass.

The opening track taken from our Autumn 2014 podcast which featured the original Paranoid Winter EP.  It includes the vocals of Claire Norman and Cris Lee, set against dissonant guitars, clarinets and electronic manipulation.

Safe Harbour

Warped folk vocals combine with dub beats and spoken word to create something rather unique!
