"Chinese Checkers" was written by Sara Geller (lyrics) and Christopher Malone (music). It's Paranoid Image's 70's funk-style song where they break away a little from their all-acoustic sound and incorporate other cool instrumentation. This includes electric guitar, 70's clavinet and a Rhodes organ.

This is a remix of PI's song "Guitar Jam", a song originally on PI's first album "Burning Paint". This remix is by Christopher ("Disco Mynx") Malone. As usual with all of his remixes, portions of the original acoustic music is combined with added instrumentation, including additional percussion. All added instrumentation is played (not sampled!) by Christopher. This remix also features a killer guitar solo by PI's guitarist Brian Hunter.

Our cover of Michael Jackson's "They Don't Care About Us" puts a new spin on this emotional song. It features our percussionists creating the sound of a Brazilian bateria in the batucada style. The top layer of the song features our vocalist's take on the melody. All percussion and vocals until the piano and guitar finally sneak in near the end. A fun, enjoyable and addictive song!

"Acoustic Alternative" band Paranoid Image was created by pianist, bassist, and music composer Christopher Malone and vocalist / lyricist Sara Geller in late 2016. Christopher and Sara met in 2015 as members of the industrial band Scifidelic. They decided to create an all-acoustic band that featured the driving rhythms of the industrial/alternative music they played, but with hand percussion, and infuse it with Latin and other influences they love - and infuse it with creative, beautiful melodies and deep lyrics.

In January 2018, they released their first song, "Keep Your Heart", and in June 2018, they released their first full album of 10 songs called "Burning Paint". Starting in March 2021, they released "(Trying to) Find Myself" and "Chinese Checkers". And April 2021, "Mutual Tension" and the accompanying remixes. In 2022, they began recording several new songs and covers that were released in 2023 and are being released in 2024.
