Hi it's me Mr. Promises about continuing to make mixtapes.  I'm here to make good.  In pursuit of making DJing more than DJing but also .. less .. than DJing ... recorded this live in Traktor, Jan 2023.   This one is dedicated to Señor Swett ... man of many tropical off-kilter rhythms .. lover of sparse beautiful things ... of soundscapes ... and complex, less easily appreciated art.  Your passion for music is inspirational.  Thanks for teaching me about that flow state

Returning to an older style of mixing for me here ... looking to showcase each song, preserving good intros and endings where possible, allowing energy to breathe and flow and keeping mixing to a minimum ... not trying to do things seamlessly or stitch things together too much. Buon giorno!  It's been a few minutes since I put out a mixtape and for that I apologize.  But it's 2019 now and new year new approach. :) Some of my time has been dedicated to keeping up on live gigs and for a while now I've been wanting to kinda get away from live shows and focus more on mixtapes and more from a personal point of view without the demands of a live show.  I want to focus more on eclectic and interesting music for the dome more than beats for the club.  Though it's absolutely not for lack of having fun because my last handfull of gigs were all very good times.  :)  Speaking of, I meant to publish my live set from the Shinto at the last WTF but never got around to it, but this one was super special so I wanted to make sure I shared it.  It was such an honor to fill this slot at the Shinto, the mystical heart of WTF and one of the most beautiful spaces ever.  I played Sunday night super late, right before sunrise.  All the other stages closed down right as I started so soon everyone awake in the entire festival was there.  I will never forget the scene.  Seratonin was taxed but the vibration was so amazing that weekend, everyone was on a cloud.  Looking out over the sea of faces all throbbing to the bass was all time.  Mega big ups to Allowe and her entire team (as well as the entire WTF family) for creating the magic, dishing out the miso buttery hospitality and conjuring an experience unlike any other.  The backstage scene that night was so great with so many friends holding it down.  It was really one of my favorite nights playing music ever.  It was a huge honor to be asked to fill that space at that time.  Thanks as well to Luke for being such a touchstone 	and getting the Funktion One humming real nice.  Apologies for the delay!  More soon!  :)

gently waking up the festival at the pond beach at noon at the beginning of the Curve pond party block, all day Saturday, 21 July.  it was a gorgeous summer day and so fun to share the stage with all the homies.  BRS, Stone, Bri, Diego, Manoj, Wu, Dakini, Danny, Derek, Erica and Kenny in full force.  muh lurv!  and the Shift crew throw a righteous hootenanny, I tell you what.  on and off the playa.  been a great honor to light up the pyramid stage over the years.  mad respect!  enjoy!
