Finally got around to posting this recording from my exploits warming the garden as guests enter the enchanting world of the House of Lunacy @ Salon Wilde Renate for Midsummer Dreams.  One of my personal favorite sets and experiences curating the incredible scenery they provide us!

Home alone on christmas special recorded after a 7 hour Tresor show and a few too many egg nogs. A tempting shmear of probably polarising moody, yuletide Nu-wave, Punk, Kraut, poppy indie rock and guilty pleasures I would normally not be able to play in clubs featuring.. Dollkraut, Matmos, King Krule, Nouvelle Vague, La Femme, In Flagranti, Moss Lime, Ata Kak, Gold Zebra and more..

No House, No techno, No disco, No elevator music.

This is the meridian of 3 years of my residency at what I truly believe is best event in the world right now, the House of Red Doors Berlin.  

It's the live recorded, compressed and re-stitched parts of playing in 3 different rooms on the night so you might notice many mood changes, partitions and large atmospheric doses in the first half from the schwarze (techno) floor before then settling into more of the boogie oogie as the guests arrived at the grün floor and lastly in the absinthe room ;)  

I decided to collate, edit and publish it like this as more of a theatrical compilation of the night and to try to recreate the endless amount of surprises, twists and craziness that only the House of Red Doors have instead of 8 hours of space junk.

You may feel uncomfortable in parts, in a willy wonka boat scene kind of way, thats entirely intentional.  Embrace your emotions, because they always pass, good and bad.

Special thanx to all the beautiful guests, costumes and the amazing performers from Bad Bruises, House of Red Doors & Billie & Alex.

...this one is pretty special for me.
