Ryan Michael Robbins - Lost Proverbs (Cosmic Boys Remix)

The Italian based Giorgio Rusconi makes his debut on Gregor Tresher’s Break New Soil imprint, serving up two peak-time techno blockbusters. Rusconi - who has made a name for himself with previous releases on labels such as Amazing Records, Audio Elite and Diva Records is known for his uncompromising, cutting edge Techno sound. 

‘Kepler’ is no exception to that approach. A tough groove, backed by an enormous bass drum marches forward, while the looped melody patterns keep the energy flowing. The well-structured break downs and crisp hats will provide maximum impact on a proper dancefloor near you. 

‘Cosmic Vision’ takes us on an excursion into deep space. The sleek slow burner morphs tripped-out, effect filled pads with funk-driven percussion sounds. Going full throttle midway, after a mysterious voice starts leading the way.

To finish off in style, please step forward Darren James &amp; Alec Milliner, aka Framewerk, a UK duo that have been on our radar for some time but we believe have excelled themselves here, delivering their finest work to date on the &#8216;Feel You Hold You&#8217; EP.

The Original Mix (10 points for anyone who can guess the vocal sample by the way) has already made it onto Dave Seaman&#8217;s forthcoming Beyond Borders: Berlin mix compilation in all it&#8217;s deep, atmospheric glory and then on remix duties we have friend of the label, John &#8216;Quivver&#8217; Graham plus one of our favourite Techno producers, man of the moment, Sasha Carassi. Both have turned in stellar performances befitting of the occasion, each with their own distinct sound and flavour. Place your bets people, pick a winner.

Completing the package is a track that will be instantly familiar to anyone who was clubbing in the mid 90s. Dee Patten&#8217;s &#8216;Who&#8217;s The Badman&#8217;is considered a stone cold classic in many circles and this 2015 remake gives it a whole new lease of life. A Brucie bonus definitely not to be missed.

Julian Jeweil lands on Christian Smith’s Tronic label on Monday 5th December with his remix of the label-head’s ‘Initiate Sequence’. We’ve got the exclusive premiere of the rework above.

The original track is taken from Smith’s third solo album ‘Inut/Output’, which also landed via Tronic earlier this year. For his remix, Jeweil pairs his trademark destructive low end with searing claps to destructive effect.

Jeweil’s cut comes as part of a remix package that also includes material from Kenny Glasgow, Kaiserdisco and Victor Ruiz.

Tabulat introduces its second release by Belgian techno-prodigy Klaps, including a stellar remix by Hush & Sleep [Second State, Etruria Beat, Suara].

After being extensively supported by Pan-Pot on his debut track "Captivating", Klaps lands his first full release on our imprint. His "Kwijt EP" is a spotless representation of the bass-heavy and acid-flecked sound he stands for. 

The title track "Kwijt" immediately sets the tone for the sound that Klaps has to offer. This dark gem gets characterized by its penetrating sub-bass and metallic percussion on top. Short and steep mini-breaks keep the momentum on pace while the main break smashes into a dazzling crescendo. 

"Quak" is the second offering of the release. Klaps' signature sound of filthy acid comes through within this track and generates a fiercely hypnotizing vibe. Rumbling bass and greasy 303 are the main weapons of choice within this peak-time gem.

With recent outlets on Second State, Etruria Beat, Suara and Virgo, the rising Dutch duo Hush & Sleep is reaching the major ranks of the realm of contemporary techno. With an acid-heavy "Rave Remix" of the title track "Kwijt", these prospects contributed an essential addition to an already stellar EP.

Revisiting another classic for this issue of Len Faki's edits, he chooses Kotai's 2002 track BA3 Breathing, a standout-cut for it's ringing vocals and ominous bassline rumbles. With the original clocking in at the 10-minute mark already, Faki's tribute mix is not much shorter, but manages to fill the spaces between beats with lots of fresh details, lifting the song's energy to a new level, while retaining the soft but sexy vibe of Kotai's compostion. Tightening up the mix and making away with vocals alltogether, the Hardspace Tool-version then solely puts its focus on busty beats and percussive prowess, staking its claim as contender for bossiest bassline of the night.

As with all releases of LF RMX, the proceeds of this record will be forwarded to the Berlin organization Straßenkinder e.V. to be used in actions against child poverty.

Atom kicks off with big techno drums and tense synths layering up into an intense groove. It’s scintillating stuff that takes you to the edge of the cosmos. Gravity is a deeper, more heady track with menacing bass and shooting lasers. Nebula then sucks you into a spooky sound world, with hard drums and cinematic synths adding up to an evocative journey. Last of all, 1991 is more tripped out, with beautiful melodies circling above the soft drums, which makes it feel like you are adrift in space. 

These are four more superbly dramatic techno cuts from one of the best in the game.

Seine Liebe und Hingabe zur elektronischen Musik entdeckte Florian von Au bereits in jungen Jahren. Bereits Ende der ´90er Jahre entdeckte der damals 16jährige seine Leidenschaft zu Techno, damals noch sehr dem Genre " Trance " zugetan. Es entwickelte sich über die Jahre hinweg eine innige Liebe zur elektronischen Musik.

Heute, ist es der härtere, jedoch durchaus auch ebenso melodische Techno, der Florian in seinen Bann zieht.
