Presented jointly by French label Paris DJs and events producer Cartel Concerts, the "Paris DJs Soul System" is an innovative concept blending deejaying and old school du session, all with original tunes and remixes taken from nearly two decades of music production.

Grant Phabao is now doubt familiar to you as France's premier reggae lord. A prime purveyor of Jamaican soul, ska, rockesteady & reggae with the Paris DJs label, he managed to cross the boundaries of music categorization, fusing his productions with funk, hip hop, afrobeat or pop vocal parts.

With the Dreadless Soldier, alias famous Parisian DJ Erik Rug, they became the first incarnation of the Paris DJs Soul System, destined to evolve into a more and more "live" concept, with singers and musicians…

Paris DJs is a collective of musical activists based in the French capital. Launched in 2005 by Djouls, former Universal Music artistic director, Grant Phabao and Loik Dury, former Radio Nova programmer, Paris DJs has build its notoriety with its podcasts of mixes, downloaded by millions of listeners. In 2012 the website/media became a label, and started releasing a new single, album or compilation nearly every week, with artworks by illustrator extraordinaire Ben Hito.
