Sadies Shooting Rock / Star Song

This song was recorded in 2004 at a recording studio in Nashville with a few good friends. I'm on vocals.

It was a very personal song when I started writing it in the piano room of Shelton State Community College years before. At first it was just a few chords I put together to freestyle worship by myself. Then eventually added lyrics and melody and brought it in to the band.

We were a band called Awaken. I played bass guitar and sang back-up vocals.

This was after years of playing in harder rock bands where I hilariously tried to be a Christian Rap/Metal/Emo singer, and bass player.

I'm probably going to re-record a simpler version of this song in the future.
