Stuck in a tower in the middle of the desert, things aren’t looking good for Rapunzel – until she discovers a spell that could help her to escape!

However, will her friends Harriet the Roadrunner, Hugo the Armadillo, Montague the Prince and Chester the Camel be able to find the 3 ingredients that she needs for the spell?

What’s more, under the close watch of Esme the Witch, will Rapunzel be able to stop her from finding out about the brilliant escape plan?

Youn Young Park and Susannah Pearse’s shows together include Once Upon a Time in Narcissia (CJ Musical Theatre Showcase Award, South Korea) Rapunzel (Singapore Repertory Theatre) The Emperor's Quest (C Venues, Edinburgh, Winner of MTM:UK Musical Theatre Award 2010 - Judges' Discretionary Award Work for Young Audiences) and How Grandmother Spider Stole the Sun (published by Mondo Publishing, New York). They are both members of Mercury Musical Developments. 

Youn Young’s other co-writing credits include Bike Shop with Elizabeth Barkan, Caroline Murphy and Gretchen Cryer (Theater for the New City, New York), Friends with Dawit Lee (Busan Cinema Center Theater), Li-Tsin (CJ Azit Theater), Othello and Iago (National Theater of Korea) and A Portrait of a Blind Girl with Danny Larsen (National Association of Cultural & Arts Center Showcase). 

Susannah’s other co-writing credits include The Stationmaster with Tim Connor (Aria Entertainment, Page to Stage) and The 45th Marvellous Chatterley Village Fete (Perfect Pitch) and Jabberwocky with Rebecca Applin (YMT). She also writes the music for the songs for John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme (BBC Radio 4).
