Daniela Araújo - Consequências (Part. Estratagema De Deus) [Felipe Pequeno Bootleg]

O ano de 2019 foi tenso, mas tenho esperança de que 2020 será bem diferente pra todos nós. Esse será um ano de reconstrução, de limpar a bagunça e preservar o pouco que ainda ficou de pé. Tempo de dizer "Não" quando for necessário, de compreender quando a gente pode ajudar alguém e quando a gente precisa parar tudo e cuidar de nós.

É hora de intensificar essa reforma interna, de optar por colocar um ponto e vírgula onde a escuridão queria que a gente colocasse um ponto final. É hora de viver intensamente. E é com essa música que eu quero iniciar 2020, transmitindo sem usar uma palavra sequer, através da melodia dessa EDM, a esperança de mais um recomeço, dessa vez, pra melhor.

Sempre que você pensar em desistir, se lembre que ainda existe outra saída. Todos os que já passaram por essa escuridão e venceram, e mais aqueles que estão saindo de lá (inclusive eu), sabem de uma verdade: existe uma saída pra quem não se entrega. Apenas continue a caminhada e jamais desista de você. Mesmo com dor e sem esperança, continue a caminhar. Apenas continue.

Que a gente possa viver intensamente todos os próximos 366 dias, e que sejam cheios de alegrias e momentos bons que compensarão nosso 2019 turbulento. Feliz ano novo!

NEXT TO ME

So... it's been a year since I last posted anything publicly...

No, I didn't quit...

There really isn't a simple answer to why I vanished from SoundCloud, it may have been because of the reputation the platform has built, but that wouldn't explain my lack of presence elsewhere on the internet... It could have been a creative burnout, but I've been making stuff behind the scenes...

To put it simply, I was lost.

Not in a spiritual or physical sense, but I began questioning who I was as a musician and as a person. I had lots of people telling me which direction I should take in life. I just wanted to express myself and be creative, and potentially have fun doing so. I started caring less and less about the opinions of others and I did my own thing.

That's what I told myself at least...

Over time I had allowed criticism to get to me. Every track I released was met with harsh criticism from both my audience and my peers. I began dreaming up the idea of quitting, and I found myself opening Ableton less and less, until I was only working on music once a month.

Deep down I wanted to release what I had made, but I was too afraid that I'd lost touch with my musical abilities. I was surrounded by people who, though they meant well, provided criticism that I wasn't in a good place to handle.

I don't blame them for their criticism, it was perfectly valid and they were (and are) mostly correct, but it eventually led me to refuse to release music. I couldn't handle any more, whether it was constructive or destructive.

Seven years ago my life started to change, but I never thought it would be turned upside down like this. I've been able to make music that I'm happy with. I've been able to get into the college of my dreams. I've been able to meet incredible, God-sent individuals who have been driving me to be stronger in my faith, even though I was told I would never find them.

I'll do my best to release music whenever I make it. I'm done chasing fame; I don't need the approval of others anymore.

Thanks to all those who have stayed with me. Musician or not, you've been a huge motivation to me and an inspiration.

When Life Would Move Slower

My music is a piece of my personality, passion, and perspective. It’s a platform for me to spread the gospel. God’s taken me from a tiny blue drum set at age 4, to now releasing my very first album at 21. Now at 25, I'm releasing singles with producer Felipe Pequeno and I'm loving what we're writing and releasing. 
It’s been a long journey though getting here.
