Hi everyone! I'm back again with a new medley about the Dark Deku arc: I'll come home to you. I've been all over the place lately but I finally managed to get this one done! It's a bit different from the other medleys, with fewer screens (though many I had to color) slower pace, and a calm emotional atmosphere with just a bit of epicness at the end, but I liked how it turned out. This moment of Deku saying goodbye to his mom always stood out to me for some reason. I always loved their relationship so it was heartbreaking seeing them say goodbye, even if it wasn't going to be a permanent thing. I don't know......I just liked it.
We are officially in dark Deku territory in the anime, can't wait to see how it all goes down.

Anyway, let's do the usual breakdown of the song:
I started with something reminiscent of the song from season 4 "I'll be back"
Some of the usual teases of the "You say run" melody
Then a piece of the main melody of "Surpassing you"
A bit of improv
Then a super sad version of a piece of "You say run"
Then some more improv followed by some more teases of "You say run" on guitar.
Then we move to the more exciting part. It's mainly improvised buildup until we get to the main theme.
It is the same one I created for the "UA Students vs Gigantomachia" medley, when majestic and the heroes go to assist the kids, but this time the theme is extended and way slower.
Once this one ends, I finished the song up with the end part of the season 5 song "Succesor"
and.... that's it!
I'm so excited to see which new tracks Hayashi has made for this arc, I'm sure they're gonna be fire. I know I have stated some strong opinions about the anime, but these latest episodes have looked amazing and I can't help to get a bit excited to see how they tackle this arc. I wish Bones the best.
