Parker Lee are a garbageshop quartet that got caught in the magnetic field of a blue velvet lounge in North Yorkshire. Since their inception, they have been a plasma physicist, a series of kinetic knitwear, hairy, hairless, a video camera, a friend to crabs, and creators of the hit TV series 'Come Dine With Lee'. All these walks of life come together around the introspective songwriting and mouth sounds of Jowan Mead to write rock songs for day-to-day catharsis, tying up lyrical themes of self-indulgence and primal fears into a neat little package of good old-fashioned drive and math influences.

Since their first full-band gig supporting Big Thief in 2017, Parker Lee have released several EPs and their debut album, 2019's forgiveness rock record If You're Not Serious, Don't Say It. These first steps earned the band attention from Tom Robinson and Jericho Keys at BBC 6Music and Introducing, and comparisons to Pavement, The Smashing Pumpkins and Cloud Nothings.

Their latest offering is 2020's late summer sojourn Scrundle, a relaxed 3-track EP covering themes of loneliness, closure and foundational loss. Hushed vocals sit upon nonchalant guitar arrangements and atmospheric sound design, taking you to busy streets and underwater suites by way of Elliott Smith, Courtney Barnett and Alex G. You may ask what Scrundle is, but what's important is how it makes you feel.
