The World's On Fire (and We Still Fall in Love)

In exactly one year, indie-rock trio Parker Woodland has gone from playing a punk rock pizza joint to one of the biggest stages of SXSW- Auditorium Shores. 

The fiercely positive powerhouse group built a buzz off their anthem "The World's On Fire (and We Still Fall in Love)" back in the early pandemic days with DIY music videos, and joyful, sweaty live shows in Austin and it was the song that everyone needed to hear. Founded by expressive frontwoman Erin Walter, a justice activist from the Girls Rock Camp scene, with Andrew Solin (Belcurve, Nogood Boyo) on guitar and Keri Cinquina (Butch County, Meg Hentges) on drums, the band's emotionally charged songwriting feels both timeless and of-this-moment -- somewhere between pandemic survival mode and a triumphant escape to the unknown.

After two EPs and 5 singles (including an adorably punk version of Daniel Johnston’s “True Love Will Find You In The End”), Parker Woodland will release its anticipated debut album in Summer 2024 (recorded at Austin Music Award winner Ice Cream Factory Studios) and is seeking to build its team (label, management, tour booking, brand sponsorship, etc.) and connect with fans, old and new at SXSW 2024.
