The sun is finally shining so here’s a 90 minute chugger mix kicking off with The Beast, from the movie soundtrack Sicario, then into Random House Projects excellent edit of Massive Attacks, Teardrop.  The set builds from 80bpm to 108bpm and includes edits of Elton John, Duran Duran, Talk Talk, Bananarama, to name a few, and includes tracks from some of my favourite DJ’s/Producers such as; Idjut Boys, Random House Project (massive thanks to Gez Dewar for the tunes), Tom Tom Club, Ghosts of Venice, My Friend Dario, Ed Mahon, North of the Island. An unashamed digger, unearthing the old informs Jeremy Underground's DJing just as much as breaking upfront material. Running the largely house imprint My Love Is Underground, his own DJing is far less restricted, tickling areas of jazz-funk, afrobeat, soul, balearic and disco. Unsurprisingly, this same eclectic curation runs through his new compilation on SpaceTalk (run by Psychemagik's Danny McLewin), titled Beauty, which samples the best of a revered DJ. For his Worldwide mix, Jeremy samples a bit of the old - in Sonya Spence, also on the new compilation - alongside some new favourites, like Conga Radio.
