Let's go back to Italy with the dynamic duo Marvin & Guy aka Alessandro Parlatore and Marcello Giordani.
On their first release for Live At Robert Johnson they team up with another dynamic duo: Hard Ton - and you guessed right, they're Italian too.
So what else to expect than some really cool contemporary Italo Disco just in time for summer? 'Save Me' comes in two different mixes: The 'Disco Mix' and the 'Club Mix' - both featuring the marvelous falsetto voice of Hard Ton's singer Max - himself quite a passionate singer in the field of Heavy Metal - AND Disco - yes, you heard right. We're talking Hi-NRG sounds galore and of course D.I.S.C.O. - the Munich style disco of someone like Giorgio Moroder doing his thing with Donna Summer or Harvey Fuqua's and Patrick Cowley's work with LGBT legend Sylvester... Not bad company eh?
The 'Disco Mix' of 'Save Me' in particular features many of those typical sounds of said producers and is a beautiful tribute to the golden disco era. The slightly darker 'Club Mix' does a great job too by pulling all dancers straight onto the floor with its drum machine generated bass drum and its euphoric claps.
Marvin & Guy's solo track, the aptly named 'Supported By Your Favourite DJ' will surely be supported by every one of our favourite DJs: It's a happy and positive track which is set to become the secret weapon in every DJ's bag.
Now let's get saved by Marvin & Guy - and let's support the Italian scene - it's mighty real!

Adrian Marth, based in Barcelona, comes through with his new debut EP Marthians World by Italo Moderni own imprint. His italo is infused in electro tracks that are bound with their vibrancy to make any listener dance, with a killer bassline and super spacial synths. There is something about these tracks that bring you back with nostalgia to the 80s but without losing a contemporary feel. Including remixes by the great Baldo, Antoni Maiovvi and Mufti.

Following recent EP releases by Captain Mustache, Dead Husband and Hypnotique, the Amsterdam-based record shop welcomes three man Austrian outfit Leitstrahl on their eponymous imprint. With more than fifteen years of band history, the trio's 4-track debut EP for Bordello comes as appetizer for the release of their first album: Chromium Dioxide.

Here comes the remix package for https://soundcloud.com/loweakauser ’s Plastik Tanzen EP which came out at the beginning of this summer on Vilnius’ freshly baked label https://soundcloud.com/where-were-we . Sadly, stems and original project of “Nepalese Honey” track has burned down together with Lowe Aka User’s hard drive, so remixes are coming only for “Palms Boulevard” and “Tanz Botanik” tracks.

The first three versions of “Palms Boulevard” were made from already well-known and established names in Italo field: Scotsman, always on point Donald Dust, Italian, Amsterdam-based and super-prolific Daniel Monaco and back to France from Hong Kong, proper edits master Romain FX.

Guys took rather different approaches for making their versions and all of them put their own spin on the OG. We hope that each and everyone of you will fall in love with one version or the other or maybe with all three of them, just as we did. The last version of “Tanz Botanik” comes from a local hero, Lithuanian talent and also known Italo lover Jonas aka Black Feeling. Although this version is the most housey from the whole package, we think that it compliments the entire pack very nicely.

As a classic composer and studied audio engineer, who has seen and lived the world of electronic music through out the years already, Pɑrlɑ is a new project of this in the Netherlands living dj & producer, with his base at Rotterdam’s infamous Perron.
Pɑrlɑ (from italian „parlare“ - „Speak“) doesn’t want to use too many words to describe him. He prefers to let his music speak. Musically independent, floating between the worlds of Italo Disco, Classic House , Slow Techno, Proto and Indie Dance his first release will be out on Permanent Vacation.
