Incase you didn't know (where have you been?), this is a version of Technotronic's 1989 international number 1 hit and features a guest performance from Canada's famous gypsy jazz covers band THE LOST FINGERS. Intended Immigration's "Biscuits and Cake" is a charmingly cheeky upbeat electro-swing original with a danceable house beat on the topic of the quintessential English tradition of tea time, whereas tea is declined, in this case, in favor of biscuits and cake. 

The track features a fetching female vocal harmonized by a clarinet-led saxophone section that attempts to humbly pay homage to the sophisticated singsong of cultured British speech. The arrangement is full of entertaining surprises and lush jazz melodies carried both by the vocals and the winds.

Das Stück enthält eine bezaubernde Frauenstimme, die von einer klarinettengeführten Saxophongruppe harmonisiert wird, die versucht, dem anspruchsvollen Singsang der kultivierten britischen Sprache Respekt zu zollen.
