Slow Nomaden makes us dance to the sound of the jungle – actually the sound of two different kinds of jungle: The wilderness and big city. Synthetic grooves create the rhythm and feverish vibe of what flows through the urban canyons of the metropolis, while the organic pattern of melodies and samples gives rise to dreams from the depths of a tropical forest. The EP is just as diverse as a jungle, as well: Besides the originals, there's the drunken pirate attitude of Pop.Hop and the intricate boost of Mollono.Bass, both manifesting in some neat remixes.

PREMIERE: Talal - Amnesia (CC1 Vocal Mix) [DAR Label]

ATLANT ends 2017 drawing on fresh and emerging talent in the form of Nordfold and the beguiling vocals of Sanne Rambags. This EP is so special we just had to share it with you at this momentous and festive time of year.

While Nordfold’s Amsterdam location is known for its shorter colder overcast days, his music will envelope you with glowing embers of positivity to see you through to the spring thaw and beyond.  
The original of ‘To Become A Thought’ is a lesson in taste and restraint as the purity of Sanne Rambags’ vocal remains the focal point. Nordfold frees the listeners mind to absorb each word, with a nod to nordic jazz in Sanne’s use of space and intonation, and a warmth that enriches the soul as subconscious ideas drift away … to become a thought.

The additional mixes are where Nordfold further shows his prowess as the Klubb Flip takes us into dusk territory, creating an other worldly almost retrospective hypnotic rave feel against modern sleek staccato synth lines and deep rolling bass.

For the ‘Dub’ Nordfold strips the track back further and flexes his production muscles to deliver a dark intense focused yet trippy basement vibe for clubbers to get completely lost in that special moment.

As you would expect, these tracks have been played out live by ATLANT label boss BOg at the likes of Rex Club in Paris to tremendous reception.

From label lynchpin Steve Parry’s much coveted ‘Fenner’ which further strengthens his growing reputation as a top table producer to Israeli stalwart Magitman showing off his melodic credentials with the majestic ‘Mars 2020’. An interplanetary blast off of a tune.

In short, a magnificent seven that would have Bronson, Brynner & McQueen running for the hills.
