Twelve releases and a hefty load of aid to families across the African continent later, Lost on You - the first and only record label to give 100% of its profits to charity - is still knocking out the bombs, recently ranking amongst the top 38 of Beatport’s Melodic House & Techno labels. It’s Brigado Crew & Crisstiano who bring the boom boom boom on Lost on You’s latest release, a high-fidelity offering of oscillator
explorations designed for sunrise at the after party.

Opening track ‘Burning' features the haunting vocal whispers of Haptic - a first for the usually
instrumental club banger repertoire of LoY - and it works to soul-stirring effect. Haptic meanders through dark synthesised passages, his early 80s purring endowing the song with an electro feel, cutting through the silence and ushering in alleys of purple light from all directions. A big warm-up track.

Track two, ‘Rebellion' brings a Nico Jaar-esque wandering into play, as a cat smirks and strolls down the sidewalk. Juicy, bouncy and irrepressibly contagious, ‘Rebellion’ is a chugger, a one-punch slugger that keeps getting back up for more. This is real head-spinning tech house for the space-out-and-forget crew.

Track three is the eponymous ‘Elephants’, a safari-tinged adventure into the places where great beasts play. But what starts as a casual expedition soon devolves into madness as the mammalian world takes on a life of its own, Elephantine tribes encircle the only exits, and you give yourself up to nature.

The main feeling you take away from the Elephants EP is one of adventure not usually found in electronic music, of being guided somewhere - somewhere better - by invisible forces. And maybe there’s a parallel with the thousands of disadvantaged people who, because of this revolutionary record label, are now experiencing aid, however minor it may be. Remember, every download goes towards helping make the world that bit less miserable. And with four stompers like this on the menu, what are you really waiting for?

Since his debut EP (Stars) for Bedrock was met with huge critical acclaim at the tail end of last year, the clamour and anticipation for another instalment from Hannes Bieger has reached fever pitch and, at last, the wait is over. The masterful Berlin-based producer returns with an absolute treasure, titled A Million Souls, featuring the stunning vocals of Francesca Lombardo, and yet another example of his spine-tingling electronic wizardry in the form of Echelon.

A Million Souls floats on an utterly hypnotising, pulsating groove as it spawns irresistible acidic hooks before dropping down to unveil and carry the heart-melting voice of Francesca Lombardo. Stepping up for @oddityrecordings' next release is emerging melodic techno talent Coeus. He is no stranger to the label run by @furcoatmusic, having contributed to the latest Odd Echoes V.A and remixing EarthLife's "Italia". This time he presents a three-track EP, joined by the duo Alfa Romero on remix duties.

Serbian based Coeus has been steadily amassing support and can already claim that names such as Tale Of Us, Solomun, Adriatique, Dixon and more are behind his music. He played the piano from a young age and this early understanding of melody seeps into his music now. Characterized by deep melodic progressions he has forged a unique sound in this space. 

The title track “Echoes” opens the package. It's everything you would come to expect from the Serbian, built on a drive drum track, the track is highlighted by a beautifully evolving synth line throughout. It takes you on a journey throughout and keeps the ear hooked.
