GNTN and Artche, hailing from Germany and the UK respectively, have both been bubbling up in the world of European techno for the past few years, collaborating most recently for an EP on Einmusika and individually releasing on labels like Stil Vor Talent, Suara, and Terminal M. Their debut EP for Yoshitoshi, Plastic Paranoia, brings together the dark, melodic sounds they are known for and incorporates elements of techno and deep house to create a swirling mesh of exhilarating sonic textures. The title track shines with its gorgeous vocal, proving that vocals and techno are not mutually exclusive. It possesses an absolutely stunning breakdown that is sure to have crowds singing along, and builds into a sweltering groove to keep feet moving. Expressions is all instrumental, interweaving a series of gorgeous synth melodies and pads that coalesce in an atmospheric and elaborate soundscape. It's a master class in maximalist production, each element shining through the multitude of layers happening at any given time. To finish things off, Spaniard Aaryon, who is no stranger to the label, gives us a deep, leftfield remix that showcases his propensity for abstract sound design. It's a subtle take on the original, but Aaryon gives it enough flavor that it feels fresh and unique. Altogether, the package displays a variety of stellar music that feels perfectly at home in the Yoshitoshi catalogue.

Milan-based collective Just This are proud to present ​X​ - a compilation celebrating ten years at the outer reaches of ambient, melodic techno. Featuring contributions from Just This family and friends, the twenty-track release will be available July 10.

Since launching in 2010 as an event series, Just This has grown to function as a record label and collective governed by community spirit and a mutual interest in the more abstract spheres of techno. Having presented over thirty releases across a ten year period, they have worked with an extensive list of acclaimed artists at the vanguard of electronic music.

Following their success as one of the first parties in Italy to book more melodic strains of techno, the collective has retained a commitment to bringing abstract sonic explorations to a wider audience. As one of the first to host artists like Tale Of Us in Milan, the Just This parties expanded to curate events across Europe and beyond, bringing with them a number of artists whose careers have since skyrocketed.

With this compilation, they celebrate the wide range of aesthetic pursuits that have underscored their intentions from the start. Tense atmospherics and murky frequencies are offset with crystalline ambient wanderings and brief moments of euphoria. Spatial manipulations carve new sonic frontiers as the boundaries between psychedelia and lucidity blur into abstract forms. At times rough, at others meditative, the compilation is underscored by a shared aesthetic belief in the weird and wonderful.

X​ includes tracks from ​Hunter/Game, Mind Against, Extrawelt, Eduardo De La Calle, Alex Smoke, Sterac, Yotam Avni ​and​ Woo York,​ amongst many others, and functions as both a celebration of the collective, and a testament to the value of community and collaboration.

Release Info: 
Jordan Gill makes his first appearance with Awen Records delivering his 3 track 'Cataclysmic' EP. All originals consist of Jordan's dark and heavy progressive style with a touch of melodic techno. The title track, 'Cataclysmic,' provides bleeping arps and a growling bassline to give the listener an atmosphere full of euphoria where 'White Lights' has a much more driving style filled with high energy to be dancefloor ready. Closing off the EP is 'The Journey' which is the most melodic and emotional out of the three productions. The breakdown and final drop shows how versatile the release is where each track can fit a different set time whether its opening the club or finishing in the early hours of the morning.

Our Remixed series is back with two special reinterpretations. First one by Kastis Torrau new alias Noissier, and the second by the winner of 'AFFKT - Bac' remix contest: SNYL.
Noissier left his mark in Sincopat with his solo 'Momentum' EP released a few months ago. Now he chooses the great track 'Survival' by TH;EN featuring Jinadu for his remix in this eleventh release of this series. He takes this timeless vocal electronic piece to his stage offering a more organic and deeper version but keeping the original essence. Definitely moves the track to the next level. By his side, Hungarian rising talent SNYL won the remix contest arranged by Hellodemo with an exquisite remix to AFFKT's 'Bac'.
