Sol Selectas is pleased to present Global Entry 2, a thirteen song compilation of psychedelic dance music, by 13 unique artists, from various parts of the World.

On volume 2 we have music from Germany, Egypt, Argentina, Italy, Russia, Israel, Turkey, Georgia, and the USA. We welcome the artists Aurka, Tamada, Serkan Eles, and DOMA, for their debut on Sol Selectas. And we are happy to present music again from our family members Be Svendsen, Sabo, Timboletti, Guy Maayan, Ayala (IT), Golan Zocher and Choopie, Hot Oasis, PAAX Tulum, and Tuba Twooz.  The songs feature heartfelt melodies,  swirling arpeggios, subtle acid licks, distorted electric guitars, desert grooves, and lots of tribal percussion. 

Global Entry 2 is the guiding sound to lead you through a cosmic portal, allowing yourself to transcend into a new higher musical dimension. 

The artwork by Helia Jamali displays an interstellar doorway up the stairs of an exotic hacienda on a distant but familiar planet.

Ninsa: The interstellar “remix version” on Gabriels SoundCloud is a track that I’ve listened to many times. I love it and when we searched for inspiration we started to talk about how shitty it is that it’s just on SoundCloud and nowhere else. So we just made our own interpretation.

When we are creating, we find a balance somewhere in between of both our styles. There is no other mentor and friend that I would wish for in this music journey.


Ananda: “ Not many movies or events hit my deepest pain of being separated as much as interstellar. They did something right with this movie and the soundtrack is on point.

So in one of our sessions, Ninsa and I couldn't find something that moved us equally so we just decided to go into these chords of Hans Zimmer. 

The heaviness of the remix on soundcloud isn't so much in this one, so i decided to create contrast by also showing the happy side of that Theme in the break..

Ninsa is not only a really good friend and an amazing, hard working talent as a DJ and all that is connected to it, her passion also lights me up a little so that i feel motivated to make some more techno tracks and also enjoy playing on parties more. So big thanks for that.

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris' showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist.
In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. The second track, "Dodge," takes listeners on a mystical journey playing with deep ambient sounds and a drop that makes your heart speed up. Tel Aviv-based producer Guy Mantzur (Kompakt / Bedrock / Diynamic) drops his hypnotic and seductive remix of "Boris," impossible not to get lost in. Additionally, Brazilian producer Victor Ruiz’s up-beat and complex remix of "Dodge" is not to be missed. Monkey Safari's dedication to their craft is catching the attention of industry dignitaries and fans alike with their consistent releases and non-stop international touring. After the astounding success of the first release on Reinier Zonneveld's imprint Filth on Acid, the label follows up with a slightly deeper take on club music. We welcome Mees Salomé, who managed to deliver a unique, balanced blend of breathtaking melodies and grooves. Mees Salomé comes from The Netherlands, and manages to deliver extra-ordinary music while only being 21 years old. 

Equivalence EP kicks off with the title track. Equivalence opens with a sturdy kick and dirty hi-hat, anticipating the mesmerizing melody. Combined with the long break and subtle arrangement this track makes for a very heavy hitter on the dancefloor. Next up is Ignorance Is Bliss. Piercing synthlines and morph into rhythmic arpeggiated progressions while continuously driven by a growling bassline. This track really shows of Mees Salomé's talent for balancing out harmony and dissonance. Followed by Reinier Zonneveld's remix for Forest Fire, which turns the original into a heavy no-nonsense peak-time techno banger with fat kicks and big drums, while leaving the powerful synth brass into place leading the way into a big climax. Forest Fire original stands out by the way all the sounds work together, morphing and interchanging in a very organic way. The brass synth makes this track perfect for melodic peak-time affairs. For the conclusion of this EP we're happy to announce Julian Wassermann, who scored many hits on labels like Stil vor Talent & Katermukke with his signature deeper style of tech-house and deep-house. He takes Equivalence into a more hypnotic direction, using an almost talking drum groove. By introducing strong dissonance between the original synthline and his own added pads, tension builds up to new levels which makes the track very effective for after-party brain melting.

The latest release by the Mexican avant-garde label Akumandra is founder Sainte Vie’s three track auditive voyage: From Desolate Places and Forgotten Times. Going beyond previous experimentation with sound assemblage and sampling from non-western musical traditions, Sainte Vie crafts his signature mesmerizing soundscapes by combining dreamlike synth textures, monumental drops and vibrant melodies that feel deeply melancholic. High Seas
