"Bleeding”, the second single from Parrotfish’s Old Man 2020 EP addresses unrequited love told through an obsessive narration. The mood is set with “love me” echoing fragilely and an aggressive pleading for love in the chorus. It’s clear the subject has centered their world around someone without giving the other person’s feelings a second thought or taking a moment to recognize what is happening.
