Trash-can percussion, beats born in the dirt

Sirens sing falsetto, pain laced with hurt

Hustle’s the anthem, grind’s the daily prayer

Street’s a roulette, spin and see who’s still there

Subways hum low, secrets in their tone

Graffiti scriptures, the prophets unknown

Lanterns of fire, the streetlights flicker

Survival’s a potion, brewed by the slicker

"I wrote this tune from a collection of visions I had on New Years Eve. We're all part of something that has already happened and are experiencing it as such and wanted to paint a picture of what it feels like to be present and/or stuck in the moment in time that you've been given to experience. We're already dead. We're all locked into our own personal decisions and destinies. Be here now and be aware of the journey.
